Step into what looks like a Havana courtyard at night, complete with faux windows and awnings. This family-owned restaurant dating back to patriarch Don Pepe's Cuban cafeteria has been a fixture in Altamonte since 1991.

The Food
But at Habana Grill, it's not just about the Cuban sandwich, but rather Latin fusion. The Cuban Rican nachos are not nachos at all, but tostones fritos topped with cheese, beans and sour cream. The Paella de la Casa is a heaping portion of simmering seafood, meats and Vallenciana rice. But don't miss out on the Pollo a la Pepe, chicken breast stuffed with spicy chorizo sausage, rolled in Swiss cheese and smothered in a creamy wine sauce.
