Lambs Eat Ivy Salon began as in idea that fashion & friendly can co-exist. The salon is set in Historic Thornton Park, and with its garden appeal, Lambs brings a bit of nostalgia, art, whimsy, and style to downtown Orlando. Our staff works as a team and has been known to create some pretty amazing makeovers. We're upscale, for sure...but we're never uptight. It is our mission to make you look spectacular, feel even better, and teach you how to manage your new look on your own. You may even make some new friends in the process. Now, how's that for an idea? …
good haircut !!. Lambs eat ivy is a nice place to get a good haircut. Lisa and all of her staff were very friendly and fun. Add to that the nice setting, good music playing, and the ability of the stylist to actually listen makes for a very good experience ! And it 's not easy to find a good haircutting experience around here !! Kudos to them !!
the reviews are true!!. I just had my first appointment with Lambs. I found the salon on citysearch and I am so glad that I did!! Gregg was my stylist and I have to say how thankful I am to find someone who told me the truth. I came in for a haircut and to have my roots done and he was so kind(but honest) about the current state of my hair. He told me that the color was not working for me and that I needed a change. I had suspected this for a while but I didn't know what to do. He walked me through the process and I can not tell you how happy I am that I trusted him. My hair looks AMAZING! The cut, the color, I am so happy. It is so nice to find someone who will treat you like an individual and take the time for you. Also, Jacko did my eyebrows and they were great! A good person to do your brows is hard to find, but I have found her. Great salon, definatly the best in Orlando!
A true gem. Lambs Eat Ivy is by far the best salon I have ever been to. Yesterday I had an appointment with Greg, and I had no idea what I wanted done to my hair. I told him that I was ready for a change, gave a list of things that I did NOT want, and left it up to him. Let me say that I am not normally the type of person that would do this with my hair, but all of the reviews made me feel confident. Also, I was sick of constantly having someone do the same old thing with my hair. I wanted someone to THINK about what would look good on me and what I would want. I left last night having the hair that I never knew I always wanted. Today simply reinforced this thought because I was complimented all day long. Someone even told me I looked like a model! I am so thankful I found this gem of a salon. Thanks Greg and L.E.I. I will see you soon!
Best Salon in Town...I Swear!. I've been to several salons in town including: Alchemy, Shine, The Wave on Washington, and The Wave on Colonial. None of them gave two sh*ts about what I wanted as far as the style went. They always did what they wanted to do with MY hair. They also did not cater to my sensitive head and I would always come out there in pain. Well, not at Lambs Eat Ivy. They are so incredibly nice there it is ridiculous. I got my haircut by Briana, who is absolutely amazing (in every aspect) and I also got my color done by linz (who is just as amazing). These girls know what they are doing and they cater to your needs. I haven't had so many compliments on my hair in a really long time. My husband liked my hair so much that he made an appointment the next day to get his hair cut by Greg and he did an amazing job! These guys and dolls did it! They totally rocked our hair out! Love you guys! See you in 6 weeks!
I LOVE LAMBS!. I recently moved from Miami to Orlando and after a couple of months I was in desperate need of a haircut. I heard all these great things about the stylists at Lambs Eat Ivy, went in for a consultation and fell in love. The salon and the people who work at it are fun, warm and talented. Most importantly, Greg, my stylist, has rapidly become my hair?s new best friend. It?s like they?ve known each other for a lifetime!
Unsatisfied!. I went to this salon after reading the great reviews. I thought the salon was very cute, but I am not impressed with my hair at all. I brought in a picture hoping it would help the stylist visualize what I wanted and my hair came out nothing like it. Maybe I should have gone to Lisa because that is who everyone says is the best and who everyone went to that wrote the great reviews.
Well, we've had a great run filled with amazing reviews from our clients and friends. "The Lambs" would like to thank everyone for their support and kind words about our "little space". But...all good things must come to an end. It seems like you had not such a great experience with your hair, and well, that just bums us out. We really want everyone to be as excited about their hair as we are and do everything in our power to give great consults so there is little room for error. However, we are people and *er,um* sometimes things just turn out differently. We are a friendly bunch, and would hope you would give us the opportunity to make things right for you. Let's check out that picture you brought in and find a remedy for you, okay? I'm glad you think the salon is cute, we really love it... and we want you to love it too.
Never go to bed angry
Never grocery shop hungry
and NEVER EVER leave a salon unhappy.
We are here for you.

and "The Lambs"
Lisa is THE BEST stylist in Orlando.
I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair but I knew that I needed a change. After seeing all of the rave reviews about Lisa at Lambs Eat Ivy I figured I'd give the salon a try.
As the daughter of a stylist (my mother doesn't cut my hair so that we can maintain our loving relationship), let me tell you that this salon has service that is second to none, products to die for, and an owner that is the best stylist I have ever had do my hair.
Lisa listened to every detail about my hair and somehow, after my consultation, knew my hair better than I did! She suggested a short cut that I let her know was a bit too drastic for me and she didn't pressure me at all about it. Then she grabbed a sketch pad and drew a beautiful picture of the hair that I never even knew I wanted.
The cut looks EXACTLY like the picture and I LOVE it! My hair has NEVER looked better.
Thanks Lisa!
I love my hair. My first time at this salon , and I loved it . I have gotten so many complements on my hair . People stop me and ask where i got my hair done at . I recommend anyone going. If you need a change Go ! or if you just need a trim Go! . . . . I love this salon ...
Best Salon Experience - EVER!.
Let me just start off by saying: Lambs Eat Ivy is phenomenal! I have only lived in Orlando for a little over a year and have received sub-standard service at other salons in the area. I came into Lambs Eat Ivy with an open mind and FRIED hair. Lisa was the best stylist I have ever had! Usually, first consultations with former stylists have been rushed and unsuccessful. Lisa took the time to listen to what I wanted and even drew out a diagram. My hair was long- a length I had been VERY comfortable with for years. She recommended shortening it and it's the best my hair has looked in SOOOO long! Thank you, Lisa! I never felt rushed, Lisa was thorough and professional, and the entire staff was absolute heaven!
I have never been so pleased with a style or color! I have finally found a salon home!
Great hair, cute space, friendly and witty folks. I had an wonderful first experience with Lisa and her crew at Lambs Eat Ivy. They fixed my disastrous self-color, gave me a NYC salon quality haircut (I'm an ex Manhattanite) at Orlando prices, and even let my puppy hang out while I finished my treatments. We were so impressed, we even had Greggory (did I spell that right, Greg?) cut my husband's hair while we waited. He looked great too! The space is gorgeous and the people are open, witty, and friendly as all get out. Definitely go. Top-notch!
