Kathy is the BEST STYLIST!

Everytime I come to Peter Jacob Salon and Spa I am always greeted with warm friendly smiles. I have been with Kathy for 10 years and want to say thank you for doing such a great job on my hair. It is always fun because she keeps up on the latest trends and sometimes we try new colors. One of the girls there had feather extensions, so I got one of those :) My husband comes too and he has never looked better. You are a consumate professional in every way!

Long history of Great Service

I've been using Peter Jacob for well over a year and I've been very satisfied with the service and the value. In that time I've used multiple stylist and they have all been professional and capable. It's great to have a place to go where the staff gets to know you and the way you like to have your hair cut.

Friday I had finished my cut and was waiting for my wife when another customer (Rose Bliss based on her review) went nuts over the price of her daughters treatment. The staff was polite but she was ballistic by the time Kathy, the owner, came up to talk with her. Rose left the store screaming that she was going to slam the store on citysearch. I decided to register and provide my own experiences when I saw that she had indeed left a low class, name calling review. I've seen Kathy go out of her way to make sure customers were satisfied. Rose spun herself through the rook before Kathy could even address her concerns.

blonde and beautiful

I recently moved to the Orlando area and was terrified to let anyone touch my hair. I went to a couple of salons in the area to talk prices and see which I felt most confident with, I ended my journey at Peter Jacob Salon and Spa. I talked with Amanda about doing a full head of highlights and she was extremly helpful when it came to product knowledge and making me feel comfortable. While my hair was processing I got a mani/pedi for JUST $30! After she rinsed my hair I was in LOVE! Blonde hair is hard to get perfect but she did it. I couldn't be happier. It was great to find a high end salon with afforable prices and a friendly staff. I am so thankful I ran across such a peaceful friendly enviornment. I have aready booked my next appt.

Kathy the owner is a BAFFOON!

BE AWARE BE VERY AWARE! This salon is a joke. I wish I read the other bad reviews before I wasted my money. The person who I thought was the manager verbally abused me after I informed her that I was overcharge, what a joke, it turns out that this overweight sloppy person is the OWNER. I support local merchants but this salon needs to close its doors. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SALON, YOU WILL BE SORRY. KATHY , CUSTOMER SERVICE 101, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! THERE ARE A LOT OF SALONS YOU CAN GO TO, THIS SALON IS EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT.

dissapointed

In attempt to give my daughter a nice Mothers Day present I paid for her to have a relaxing day at the salon! I had chosen this salon based on my husbands word, bad idea , but I also thought it would be great because she resides in Downtown Avalon. As soon as she left she called me in tears. My daughter being the non-confrontation person she is did not complain but I really wish she had. Her stylist did not in anyway give her the cut or color she had asked for and seemed less then concerned with my daughters apparent uneasiness. That night we were meeting for a family dinner so she asked for her hair to be dried. The stylist did a completley sloppy job. In end I felt as if I gave my daughter the worst Mothers Day present ever! I should have done more research :(
