Kathy is the BEST STYLIST!. Everytime I come to Peter Jacob Salon and Spa I am always greeted with warm friendly smiles. I have been with Kathy for 10 years and want to say thank you for doing such a great job on my hair. It is always fun because she keeps up on the latest trends and sometimes we try new colors. One of the girls there had feather extensions, so I got one of those :) My husband comes too and he has never looked better. You are a consumate professional in every way!

Long history of Great Service. I've been using Peter Jacob for well over a year and I've been very satisfied with the service and the value. In that time I've used multiple stylist and they have all been professional and capable. It's great to have a place to go where the staff gets to know you and the way you like to have your hair cut.

Friday I had finished my cut and was waiting for my wife when another customer (Rose Bliss based on her review) went nuts over the price of her daughters treatment. The staff was polite but she was ballistic by the time Kathy, the owner, came up to talk with her. Rose left the store screaming that she was going to slam the store on citysearch. I decided to register and provide my own experiences when I saw that she had indeed left a low class, name calling review. I've seen Kathy go out of her way to make sure customers were satisfied. Rose spun herself through the rook before Kathy could even address her concerns.

blonde and beautiful. I recently moved to the Orlando area and was terrified to let anyone touch my hair. I went to a couple of salons in the area to talk prices and see which I felt most confident with, I ended my journey at Peter Jacob Salon and Spa. I talked with Amanda about doing a full head of highlights and she was extremly helpful when it came to product knowledge and making me feel comfortable. While my hair was processing I got a mani/pedi for JUST $30! After she rinsed my hair I was in LOVE! Blonde hair is hard to get perfect but she did it. I couldn't be happier. It was great to find a high end salon with afforable prices and a friendly staff. I am so thankful I ran across such a peaceful friendly enviornment. I have aready booked my next appt.

Kathy the owner is a BAFFOON!. BE AWARE BE VERY AWARE! This salon is a joke. I wish I read the other bad reviews before I wasted my money. The person who I thought was the manager verbally abused me after I informed her that I was overcharge, what a joke, it turns out that this overweight sloppy person is the OWNER. I support local merchants but this salon needs to close its doors. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SALON, YOU WILL BE SORRY. KATHY , CUSTOMER SERVICE 101, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! THERE ARE A LOT OF SALONS YOU CAN GO TO, THIS SALON IS EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT.

dissapointed. In attempt to give my daughter a nice Mothers Day present I paid for her to have a relaxing day at the salon! I had chosen this salon based on my husbands word, bad idea , but I also thought it would be great because she resides in Downtown Avalon. As soon as she left she called me in tears. My daughter being the non-confrontation person she is did not complain but I really wish she had. Her stylist did not in anyway give her the cut or color she had asked for and seemed less then concerned with my daughters apparent uneasiness. That night we were meeting for a family dinner so she asked for her hair to be dried. The stylist did a completley sloppy job. In end I felt as if I gave my daughter the worst Mothers Day present ever! I should have done more research :(

AWESOME, GREAT, AND COOL PLACE TO BE!!!. I just went to Peter Jacobs today and got my hair done by a girl named Courtney G. She was awesome. She did some highlights and a cut, and I am thinking about some hair extensions for my wedding. I LOVED the place!. The girls were very friendly and helpful, especially the front girls because I didn't really know what I wanted and they were so polite and professional. It is one of the nicest places I have been too. It's clean, modern and it was a nice atmosphere,a really relaxing time. Next time I think I will get my nails done too! A great place to be and bring my friends too. Thanks Courtney G.

EWW EWW EWW. if you want a girl straight out of school to do your hair and pay top notch prices.. this is the place to go.

I have never been in a salon so unorganized and gross. The girl who did my hair recently took her exam for her license. How can you charge 50$ for a haircut/blowdry for that kind of experience. She ruined my hair and had to go to Prive to get it fixed. Everything is filthy and I have notified the department of health about the conditions of this salon.

This salon could have had a lot of potential and it's unfortunate .

NEVER GO HERE!!!

Best Salon Ever!. I just went to Peter Jacobs to get my hair done. Girl, I just loved it! I got highlights and a cut and the girl who did it knew exactly what I wanted. I go to UCF and live close by so it works out for me. Hey, do you need a receptionist? Awesome work. Peace out!

People Make Mistakes. I am not going to deny the fact that my review is biased. However, I believe that I would say the same thing about anyplace, for any service of any kind.

People will make mistakes, no matter what the situation may be. It is common to find people we disagree with and it is common to have customers that are just impossible to accommodate.

When mistakes are not understood, chances are that a door to what could have been is closed and you will never know what your life could have had in store for you.

If you have had a bad experience, no one will judge you for being disgruntled due to the understanding that you came to a salon and spa in order to feel relaxed and that expectation was let down. However, it is guaranteed that you will be fully rewarded with a sincere apology and possibly more.

Fantastic Hair Salon. This Salon has a wonderful atmosphere. The owner Kathy Cabrera makes sure that my experience at the salon is always top notch. She has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. It is unfortunate as a Salon owner you are forced to let some people go. However, as an owner of a wonderful Salon like Peter Jacob, you have to be careful to have a very professional staff that elevates your salon. Since Kathy often hires young stylists, there is bound to be some that just do not meet the high standards of Peter Jacob. After all, Peter Jacob Salon's reputation as well as Kathy Cabrera's reputation are affected by the stylists that represent the Salon. I personally would like to thank Kathy my wonderful experience with Peter Jacob Salon.
