Citysearch Editorial Review. Tikiphiles experience the Aloha spirit of Honolulu and Tahiti at this Downtown lounge decorated with artwork, carvings and other artifacts from around the world. Hawaiian shirts aren’t required but tropical cocktails like the Mai Tai, Beach Bum and Coco-Loco are the drinks of choice, served from a long, wooden bar created from old railroad track wood from Zimbabwe, Africa. Delicacies from the sea and mouthwatering bar bites come to the rescue when these rum-filled mixtures start to sneak up. Live acts perform reggae, lounge and surf-rock Wednesday through Saturday, and it’s best to arrive early and grab a seat before the South Pacific-style bar gets packed.
