Tips for Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant

Still haven't found good seafood in Orlando :(. My wife ordered steamed live Maine lobster, and she was not impressed when she received it from the kitchen: The size of the lobster is twin-size, and 60% of the good meat from the lobster body was removed (which in our opinion completes the lobster-eating experience). Also, the lobster looked and tasted like it was frozen, which was not at all what we anticipated. Highly disappointed with their lobster offering, and $16.99 is an extremely high price to pay for a frozen, twin-size lobster that could easily make Red Lobster chuckle under their breath. As for me, I ordered the dozen rock shrimp, and it came out to be insufficient at best: just 12 small pieces of broiled shrimp with a side of generic-flavored chicken rice pilaf for $11.99. It's sickening the way this restaurant produces crappy quality seafood at extreme prices, and it's no wonder why this place didn't get any business from customers on a Tuesday night when we went out there. My wife and I will never come back there again, period.

Not Comparable to other Dixie's. Not comparable to Titusville or Mount Dora. The famous rock shrimp was sub-par and service was almost orrible. Server never checked on us and they were not busy at all.
