best ever.
I was on orlando on 2008 January due to some office work and i found this place through some local advise.
This time i am here in orlando for vaccation and i knew the place but wondering if they are still there because i forgot the name. But luckily i found the place still exist and felt happy to notice everything change from best to excellent.
I dont know how they manage but even after long time since they open the restaurant looks like new and the food was fresh.
So, Being a Indian I must say i loved this place, The food is just right.
wow ...excellent food. We were in orlando for 5 days and we went almost everyday for dinner .This was the best indian food I had in a long time .I am vegetarian and tried most of the dishes especially my favourite paneer chilli ,vege kadahai, paneer makhni and malai kofta and my husband ,he like the meat items a lot .service was as pleasant as you expect after getting good food .The restaurant managed very efficient way . love this place
Good Indian Food.
I had a good experience on Friday, 7/18/08. I attended the buffet (11:30am - 2:30pm). The food was good and tasteful. The waiters were attentive and helpful and most importantly, the restroom clean.
This restaurant is very casual, and family oriented, but if your trying to impress a client??????hmmm, I would think twice.....
Please don't get me wrong the restaurant is really clean, pleasant atmosphere, relaxed, etc.
The reason why I rated the restaurant average, is because I have experienced better as far as indian food and atmosphere are concerned.
Where Indians go for Indian food..
In Short
Spice up your life at this local favorite, where native Indians and British tourists revel in tandoori and top notch service. Aashirwad (which means blessing) is scented with incense and recently underwent a paint job in maroon and gold to add to the ambiance. The lunch buffet is ever changing: Paneer pakora (Indian fried cheese), vegetable samosas, curried meats and stews, buttered naan, basmati rice and for dessert, mango ice cream and rice kheer (pudding). The salad bar offers condiments like yogurt, chutneys and kachumber--spiced onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. Vegetarians and meat lovers alike will find plenty to satisfy.
