Aashirwad (which means blessing) is scented with incense and recently underwent a paint job in maroon and gold to add to the ambiance. The lunch buffet is ever changing: Paneer pakora (Indian fried cheese), vegetable samosas, curried meats and stews, buttered naan, basmati rice and for dessert, mango ice cream and rice kheer (pudding). I had a good experience on Friday, 7/18/08. I attended the buffet (11:30am - 2:30pm). The food was good and tasteful. The waiters were attentive and helpful and most importantly, the restroom clean. This restaurant is very casual, and family oriented, but if your trying to impress a client??????hmmm, I would think twice..... Please don't get me wrong the restaurant is really clean, pleasant atmosphere, relaxed, etc. The reason why I rated the restaurant average, is because I have experienced better as far as indian food and atmosphere are concerned.
Pros: Good food, ambience, and service. Nothing major to rave about....
Cons: There is another buffet restaurant next door and trying to get a decent parking space can be challenging.
