A lodging staple for budget-minded road-trippers and business travelers..
In Short
Since the Ramada brand made its debut in 1954 in Flagstaff, Ariz., the hotel franchise has been offering dependable accommodations with budget-wise perks. Families appreciate the kids-stay-free policy for children 17 and under staying with their parents. Other amenities usually include a swimming pool, full-service restaurant, lounge, in-room data ports and voice mail. Group rates--for wedding parties, corporate groups or family reunions--are available for parties requiring 10 or more rooms per night.

Inconceivable!.
I was astounded by the poor quality and service of this so-called "resort". To start the front desk staff was curt, unfriendly and not very helpful. The maid service was surprisingly very bad. My friend and I stayed for 5 nights and frequently came back to find dirty glasses, wet towels on the floor, and stale coffee in the coffeemaker. Our amenities were rarely replenished unless asked for. My bedspread was torn and shoddily sewn back together. The room door had to be slammed to be shut. The decor left much to be desired despite being recently "remodeled?" The sink had a residue that never got cleaned out. The restaurant service was rude. Despite arriving 20 minutes before them closing, they made us use take out containers for the breakfast buffet and charged the same amount. I think we'd have been happier in a motel, sadly.
