Dr. Lewis treats athletes including Dwight Howard. If you want the best treatment, go to where the BEST go for treatment. I visited Dr. Lewis after suffering a severe ankle sprain. He and his entire staff provided treatment and services as if I was one of the numerous professional athletes he routinely treats. I thought I would be out of commission for a long time but his sports medicine approach allowed me to return to my activities in no time. It's no wonder why Dwight Howard chooses Dr. Lewis as his foot and ankle doctor. If you don't believe me, I encourage you to check him out for yourself the next time you have a foot or ankle condition.

Great Doctor!. I am 80 years old and I have had Diabetes since 1979. A few years ago I developed neuropathy in my legs and months later discovered an ulcer on my foot on the Achilles tendon. After a few months of treatment at a local wound center it still didnt heal, it grew worse and the tendon became severly damaged. That is how I ended up in the hospital and how Dr. Lewis entered my life! His expertise in treating my wound saved my foot. I have made many visits to his office after being discharged from the hospital and his nurses and staff have been nothing but kind to me. I consider Dr. Gideon J. Lewis a frend and a caring and dedicated doctor!

My Patient Experience.
When the VA clinic told me that I should have had foot surgery yesterday and by the way, there is a year waiting list, I decided to look for a doctor that was familiar with my type of problem. After searching the internet, I only found one doctor that described the problem with my big toe, and that was Dr. Gideon Lewis. I was very hesitant about having any kind of foot surgery. All I heard were horror stories from several people that had foot surgery.
During my first visit with Dr. Lewis, he put my mind at ease by explaining in detail what my problem was. Being close to 70 years old and retired, Dr. Lewis proposed a couple of options. I chose joint replacement surgery in my big toe. As of now, I am on target and without pain. Many people asked if I would do it again, me reply to them was yes without hesitation.
The professional office staff was very helpful at all times and answered any questions I had. I will not hesitate to refer all of my friends to Dr. Gideon Lewis.
