User Reviews for Springdale Farm

Yes, while Springdale Farms does need cosmetic upkeeping to maintain its apperance, the establishment does provide excellent care for their horses. Horses boarded here have never been mishandled, mistreated or abused. Ground maintenance may not be on the top of the list, but the care for horses is. As far as the comments made about June (the barn manager), she gets along with everyone, she doesn't just cater to elitists. Springdale Farm is a family owned and operated business that prides itself on providing quality care for its horses at a low cost. With our low cost, you will find weeds or chipping paint, but never a mistreated horse.

Pros: Quality Horse Care, Inexpensive Rates.

Cons: Up keep

Take it from me, do not board your horses at this place if you care what happens to your animals. The horse care here is terrible. There are too many horses and people for the size of this barn. Not all the horses can be let out to graze because of lack of space. My horse lost a lot of weight staying at this barn when I was paying for full board. The people there steal and break your equipment. I had a lead rope stolen and someone took and used my lunge whip and broke it. Also people spread rumors behind your back. It is a typical horsey politics place where if June( who is the barn manager ) does not like you or your horse will make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. The only good thing about this place is that the board is fair at $350.00 a month. June is very incompetent about horse care and is very opinionated; she has her little click of people she likes because they kiss her butt and she lets these people get away with stealing other people's equipment and causing trouble for other boarders. I moved my horse after 2 months, I was fed up with the horrible horse care and the run down barns and old tore up fencing. The facility is very unkept. I found a much more professional place to keep my horse. Another negative is the road leading to the barn is not paved and is very uneven, it will definately mess up the suspension in your car or truck after a while. This is worst place that I have ever kept my horse at. I hope this place goes out of business.

Pros: Board is $350.00 a month

Cons: Horse care and the barn is not adequate. The people are theives and trouble makers.
