Thai at it's best. Amazing food, good service, plenty to choose from on the menu and at a very decent price. I love this place and have never been disappointed when I have gone or ordered take-out.

Best Thai I ever had. I never read other reviews because I want to approach a review solely with the perceptions, when I walked away from the experience. I am surprised that this restaurant isn't more acclaimed in the community. I think their location keeps them hidden (they definitely need to advertise). I know I drove past for years until someone suggested stopping there.

I have eaten here a number of times. If you like coconut you can't go wrong. While their menu may not as diverse as some others in the area. The food is to die for. I am a picky eater and most time leave food on my plate but that never happens at the Pilan. I enjoy the Coconut Chicken with curry (I can't remember the actual name). The food is always hot when it arrives. The servings are generous. You may have a bit of a wait, but patience is rewarded.

The wait staff isn't impressive nor did I find myself frustrated.

The average price for a meal and a native drink is going to run you about $15. for lunch.

Inconspicuous on the outside but delicious on the inside, this Thai gem is hidden in a non-descript Altamonte Springs shopping center.. In Short
A friendly server greets you in traditional Thai dress at this surprisingly roomy restaurant. Although the burgundy walls are mostly bare, each table is adorned with colorful fresh orchids. For your entree, choose a protein for your main dish--shrimp, chicken, pork, beef or tofu--and have it simmered in a creamy, spicy sauce of your choice. Try the pad phet, red chili paste, onions, bell peppers or massamun curry, a mild curry with peanut, onions and potatoes. Duck specials include boneless roasted duck with ginger, deep fried duck with curry or panang.

GREAT. Well since I am logged in I thought I would take the time to comment on my favorite little restaurant. I only order the Thai Yellow Curry because it is so fantastic!!!! I can tell you that it is very authentic tasting as I traveled and worked with Thai's for 3 months. I I have this phone number saved in my phone and I order take out all the time. They are vey nice and always have the order ready to go. We have dined in a few times as well and everyone is friendly.
