I was in Orlando recently and walking through the lovely Thornton Park area.
A stop in Thornton Threads proved to be a pleaseant surprise from other boutiques
I've been in. The atmosphere when you first walk in makes you feel comfortable,
so much selection and something for everyone from glassware to jewlery to clothing and more. Pleasant help and not hovering and prices for every pocketbook. It's on
my list when I return.

Reminds me of shops in Soho or Austin. Friendly environment, helpful down-to-earth people, fair prices, parking available, and lots of great clothes, jewelry, shoes, hats, belts, etc. I love that they while they carry lines like Ben Sherman, Penguin, Fornarina, Caffeine, and Triple 5 Soul, they also have one-of-a-kind items made by local designers as well as artwork for sale on the walls. Highly recommend!!!
Great stuff for guys!

I'm from LA and found Thorton Threads on a recent visit to Orlando, and they have it all over the pretentious Melrose Ave boutiques. They had some brands that I knew and liked such as Chip and Pepper and Triple Soul Five as well as some unique local designers... I especially liked the T's from Effete. There was also a pleasant lack of annoying sales people that usually smother you when you walk into places like this. Much love! Keep up the good work TT!
- Pros: Great style, No sales pressure, Local designers

love this place - can't find this stuff at the mall - very original and cool - some original designers, some vintage, plus brands that are usually overpriced at depertment stores (but not here) - unique shirts and jackets and jeans and dresses - they have cool jewelry and sunglasses and shoes. you expect it to be expensive because it's hip and on a nice street, but it's for ANY budget - you can always walk out with something new and fun and cute. my husband goes crazy here - bought the best jeans he's ever had, an original local designer t-shirt, a hipster golf shirt, a vintage looking button-down, cool shorts that look soft and worn, and a super cool zippered athletic jacket. great street - places to eat and hang out and people watch. we make an afternoon of it.
