An out of the way gem :-). I live in the Metro DC area, but visit family in Mount Dora and Tavares. Thai Jasmine may not look like much from the outside, but what a gem it is! The Thai food compares well to that in much more cosmopolitan areas, but the Sushi was a delightful surprise. I ordered a small sampler to share with my family members, who are not familiar with Sushi, and I was most impressed. Thank You!

Thai Jasmine is AWESOME!!. We go here a lot .. It's a great restaurant! I like the Pork Fried Rice, Pad Thai Chicken and Pad See Ew Beef Spicey .. All three are EXCELLENT!!

Best Sushi near Lake County. This place is such a refreshing suprise! My husband is a chef and was hesitant to try a sushi restaurant that was in a strip plaza, we usually eat Sushi at Amura in Sanford, but it is quite expensive so he decide to pick up a to go order from Thai Jasmine. We were both so impressed with the size and flavor of the rolls, we definitely found our new Sushi place! The price was about half what it would have been at Amura, and the flavor was definitely there and the size was great, too.

Great Food, Small Place. This place makes up with their quality of people and food what it lacks in atmosphere. By far some of the nicest people work there. Kenzy is a great sushi chef and just a great guy. Food was Cheap and Good and Plentiful. Highly Recommended.

Great Pad Thai. We sometimes order from here for lunch - I love the chicken pad thai - light on the spice. It is the best I've had around...and you'll find yourself eating the entire portion without even realizing it!

Great little restaurant. This restaurant is located in a little strip mall on Old 441/Alfred St. in Tavares. Don't let the exterior turn you away because the food is excellent and so is the service. Great Thai dishes and a small sushi bar. I have eaten there many times and it has always been very consistent. It has limited seating and the noise level can get high when full. But it is well worth it!
