WORST F-ING SUSHI EVER!!.
I love sushi and have been to several different places in Orlando. This place by far was the worst yet. I went 30min out of my way to get lunch from this place because they had some interesting rolls. Boy was that a mistake! What I got in return were egg rolls that were still frozen, sushi not made the way it said on the menu and the rice around the sushi was disgusting! This was so bad that I had my husband take it back to them and get a full refund. If you are looking for good susi in the area FUSIAN or FUSIAN Ultra Lounge have great rolls!
Do not recommend.
This sushi restaurant tucked away in a run down shopping center is far less extravagent than it's sushi neighbors. I'm fairly dissapointed with sushi restaurants around the UCF area, including this one. It's as if they expect college students to be too dumb to know what real sushi is. The sushi rice is way too salty, extremely over priced and the service was horrible. I would not recommend it. Drive near by to Fujii sushi where the sushi is still not great, and the service is just as bad, but at least it's cheaper. For good sushi, visit the upscale franchise Amura.
Don't let the shopping center location fool you--the ambiance and cuisine are both trendy and tasteful.. In Short Like its namesake, Origami Sushi has made this Japanese staple into an art form. The menu could prove intimidating for the undecided, with pages of makimono rolls, sushi, teriyaki and tempura dishes to choose from. Origami offers several exclusive items, including the Orlando Roll, with shrimp, crab, avocado and cream cheese, and the Sexy Mama Roll, with tuna, cucumber and cream cheese wrapped in strawberries and avocado.
