What People Are Saying About Morton's The Steakhouse

In Short – With its dark wood details, celebrity photos and tuxedo-clad waiters, this upscale steakhouse chain has the air of a posh men's club. Service is professional and discreet, with bartenders making a mean martini. Dinners begin with a waiter-driven cart laden with fresh vegetables, live lobster and cuts of steak; customers choose from porterhouse, rib-eye, bone-in prime rib and more. Side dishes are traditional and enormous, from baked potatoes and creamed spinach to steamed broccoli with hollandaise.

Best steak anywhere!!

By far the best steakhouse, and one of the top restaurants in Orlando. In a city that people consider Fridays a good restaurant, Mortons is a delight to have, it is pricey but you pay for what you get. The hospitality is gracious and professional and the food is first class. No steakhouse, especially in Orlando can compare to this one. FYI. Try the half off bar food specials at 5 pm and later at night.
- Pros: Everything!
- Cons: Location is a little hidden
Great food, amazing Cabernet!

Morton's is the kind of place you'd expect to see Sammy, Dino and Frank eating at after a concert. The dark wood decor is lovely, and compliments the food. Gorgeous steaks, fabulous starters, amazing wine, coupled with a courteous and knowledgeable wait staff makes this one of my top 20 restaurants. A must "dine".
- Pros: Great food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff
- Cons: Expensive, if you're on a budget
Good for Special Occasions

I ordered the porterhouse and it was by far and away the best steak Ive ever had. Almost two inches thick and melt in your mouth tender. People may complain about the prices, but hey, its Mortons folks and in the Orlando area you could do a lot worse for $100 + a person at a restaurant. Ive eaten at the Mortons Orlando location a few times and found their food and service to be prompt and consistently above average. Leave some room for the raspberry chocolate cake too. For special occasions only, but I would definitely go back.
- Pros: Quality, Relaxing atmosphere
- Cons: Pricey
Must Experience

Not Cheap but worth the price. The best Prime Rib with no exceptions. Service is almost perfection and the atmosphere is just what a steakhouse should be - classy but not to stuffy. Everything was fantastic and I have dinned in several of their location and had the same great experience.
- Pros: Food, Service
- Cons: Expensive
All Hype

I've eaten at many of the great steakhouses including Peter Lugers in Brooklyn, Sparks in Manhattan - just to name a few and was sorely disappointed in Mortons. My wife had a fabulous filet mignon while I had a veal chop that was more fat and sinew than meat. Vitos chop house in Orlando is a much better (dining and price wise) choice! You only get one chance to steal my money.
