Cura Script Pharmacy6572 Swissco Dr, Orlando, FL | Directions 32822
28.467051 -81.300463CuraScript is a specialty pharmacy that dispenses critical, expensive, and life-saving meds. Anthem BCBS forces members to use Express Scripts, and Express Scripts forces people with HIV to use CuraScript. People with HIV cannot skip taking meds, not even for a day without serious risk. CuraScript overnighted my meds to the wrong address, which were promptly returned by UPS. CuraScript destroyed my meds on receipt, is billing me a copay for drugs I never received, and is witholding sending me future refills until I pay. This isn't the first time I had to skip meds because of their screw-up. Every 3 months, there's always a delay or some problem. Anthem has already granted me permission for emergency reflls at CVS twice in the last 9 months. I have filed a formal grievence with Anthem and asked if I can permenently get my meds at a local retail pharmacy. Waiting 30 days for an answer to my grievence.
Curascript DANGEROUSLY bad pharmacy. I agree completely with the previous review. My child is on a life-saving medication for a rare disease. Curascript can't get it right and cancels our orders without even informing us. We don't find out we are not getting the medication until it doesn't show up! I now call each month before it is supposed to arrive to confirm delivery, and most of the time, they tell me there is a problem with the delivery. It is always something they have done wrong on their part. They can never figure out what the problem is, and the doctor is constantly re-sending the prescription and they still can't get it right. There is a serious disconnect between the Curascript pharmacy, the billing department, insurance companies, and our doctors. No one can communicate in sync. The result is no delivery of the life-saving medication. It has been our worst nightmare.
Curascrpit the worst Pharmacy EVER. As a Pharmacist, this pharmacy is the worst ever. My daughter who suffers from seizures and multiple other disorders has missed her dose completely by fault of this pharmacy. THe doctor faxed a script, they couldn't read it and never called the doctor. 2 weeks later when I called for a refill for her, giving them 2 weeks, they call friday night at 829pm and tell me I need to cal them back theres a problem with the order. So I Immediately call back to get the answering service, needless to say she never got her medications. You know what the problem was?? they didn't know if they should send a syringe with it?? Even knowing full well she had no medication left. Every single month there is a problem, every one. I am writing this in hopes of figuring out a way to keep escalating this issue. They are an extremely poor pharmacy, especially dealing with speciality pharmaceuticals...They should even be more on the ball getting patients their medications. The only reason I even give them 1 star is because you have to put a star to publish
HORRIBLE PHARMACY. Horrible pharmacy. Trying to get meds for 6 days now. They have sent it wrong two times. Cannot reach anyone without being put on hold. Managers NEVER available. Make promises with no follow-through. Do not care about their patients.
If you use Curascript for HIV meds. good luck!. My health insurance uses Express Scripts as their pharmacy manager. I take medication for HIV and cannot skip doses because the chance for resistance is too great. The HIV meds have to be ordered from Curascript, an Express Scripts Company. In January while I still had plenty of medicine I ordered a 3 month supply of Viramune. On their website they had the status as they were contacting my Dr. finally the status said they couldn't get a hold of my Dr. At this point I called my Dr. and they sent in the fax for the order. I called their customer service and they flat out lied saying the prescription would be shipped within the next week. Forward to last week I called as I am getting dangerously low on medication and they said they never received a fax from the Dr. I called my Dr. once again and the lady in my Dr's office was very helpful and volunteered to call Curascript for me and see what was going on. They actually lied to her saying they just received a fax a day ago she went ahead and made the order once again! Now I am less than a week from running out of HIV medicine and I am sure at the earliest it will be shipped Monday, so I am going to have to go to my local pharmacy and get an override from my insurance company just so I can have enough medicine to get by until my prescription finally arrives. Express Scripts is incompetent and I seriously wonder how many deaths they have been responsible for because they don't seem to care at all if people get lifesaving medication, I really have no clue how their employees sleep at night working for such a dirty company!
Curascript Worst Pharmacy Ever. I cannot believe how awful this pharmacy is. I have trouble each tme I order my medicine. They even shipped my medicine to my doctors personal HOME. I take a biologic every 6 weeks through an infusion and it is a life saving medicine. I does not matter when I order the medicine, it almost always results in not shipping in time for my infusion. I have to make many calls each time in order to get a shipment to take place. Each time I have to repeat everything. The company will eventually by sued for loss of health/life. A class action suite would be great, put them out of business. Anthem need to be a new pharmacy so that they are not part of any class-action suit as well. TERRIBLE COMPANY.
THE WORST PHARMACY EVER.
It has taken 2 weeks and 4 faxes for this company to get the order my latest order. If you have a choice go somewhere else. My insurance locks us in and we have been forced to use these clowns for over a year.
They can not even get refills right. Once they sent sent syringes and no needles and when I called them they said it was not on the prescription. Once they sent cartridges instead of the pens and I called them back to either get the right device or the mechanism for the cartridges; they told me that the neither the device nor the pen needles were on the prescription. I asked them how I was supposed to give the shots, and she could not answer. Go anywhere else...
Does Blue Cross and Curascript want us to DIE EARLY?.
ARRRGH! Anyone with a chronic illness understands the importance of a GOOD relationship with their pharmacist. I am a Hemophiliac and have been HIV positive for about 25 years. I take life saving drugs for the HIV. It is EXTREMELY important to NOT MISS ANY DOSES!!!
One day I waltzed into my pharmacy of ten years and guess what??? They can't fill my prescriptions because BLUE CROSS won't allow it. I have to call CURASCRIPT and order it...result, my first MISSED DOSE in five years.
Their is a snafu every time I re-order. The billing department has no clue and will stop a refill if they get confused. I've missed FIVE doses because of these clowns.
What happens if a storm hits and FED EX or UPS gets backed up? What happens if my meds get damaged or lost in the mail? What happens if my house burns down and my meds get burned up?
Everytime I order I breathe big sigh of relief when my new pharmacy tech (THE UPS DELIVERY MAN) kindly leaves my pills in my front steps.
It is hard not to get the feeling that some bean counter at BLUE CROSS has figured out that my EARLY DEMISE will save them BIG BUCKS. BLUE CROSS...ARE YOU LISTENING???? DO YOU CARE??? WILL IT TAKE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT after some of us are DEAD??????!!!!!!!!
If you like being a faceless number this is the pharmacy for you! GOOD LUCK!
Somehow affiliated with blue cross?. This is the most frustrating experience. Lost scripts, cumbersome ordering and customer service, constant need to re issue scripts because they have supposedly expired. None of these problems with my local pharmacy.
CuraScript has the Worst customer Service Ever Expirienced.
It’s been two weeks now trying to get a prescription from these people. I call every day, most of the time several times a day. They are rude and defensive. I found them very quick to point blame elsewhere, the latest blaming the doctor, until I conferenced the doctor onto the call. After he said he has responded to the same prescription request multiple times they started moving forward, only to have the pharmacist reject it for the same reasons again.
Nobody read the previous entries. I won’t even go into the lies, rudeness, the damaged syringes I received, late delivery, and the un-answered messages I left for them as well as endless other frustrations.
They want you to go to a web site and start an account for YOU to contact them for every refill. The websites wants a member ID which took me three calls, each of endless phone prompts to obtain this ID number, only to have it rejected by the website.
I called my insurance company today and said I refuse to be humiliated by dealing with such a miserable company as Curascript. I have no need for this frustration. If the insurance company says they won’t assist with letting me go back to my previous pharmacy, I won’t order the meds. Nobody should be treated this crappy.
