Poor Customer Service
by Zohler at Citysearch
My husband brought in 7 articles to be dry-cleaned. He was promised they would be ready Friday at 5 P.M.(he brought them in on Wednesday) I went to pick them up at 5:30 on Friday and was told the machines had broken down but they would be ready the next day (Saturday)at 11:00 a.m. I explained it had to be so because my husband was going out of town on business. When we went on Saturday, they were not ready, and we had to go in the back and identify his shirts and pants. We came back an hour later and they were just pressing the last shirt. It cost 28.00 and when I requested a discount for poor customer service plus we had to find our own clothes we were told they don't do that. I will in the future use any other dry cleaners in the area except this one. Union Park dry cleaners has been in business for 30 years and now you know why. If you use this cleaners, take pictures of your articles and get a guarentee when it will be ready. For me never again.
- Pros: couldnt find any
- Cons: Service
LASAND CLEANERS - dissatisfaction guaranteed

Sorry, but that last review sounds like it came from the owner or employee. I've been using their services for the past year and have had a number of articles damaged. They shrunk a pair of my pants, which they said they could fix. They removed the stiching in the cuffs and added about an inch of length. They were still a little short, and they could not do anything about how tight they got. I have had a number of buttons broken off dress shirts. Most recently, they ruined a brand new $120 Tommy Bahama shirt (only worn twice). When I got it back, it had burn marks with a hole around the right sleeve in the front of the shirt and burn marks around the left sleeve in the back of the shirt. When I picked up the shirt and brought it to their attention, I got the run-around for awhile, but then Judy said she would fix it. I asked how, and she said she would have her husband look at it and determine how it would be fixed. Similar to the pants they altered, they shortened the length of the sleeves to hide as much as possible the hole burned into the shirt, however there were still burn marks close to the stitching (about a 1" by 3" area). When I picked it up I was told that she tried her best to fix a stain that she didn't even make. Judy said that I brought the shirt in with the stains already there and I was trying to get them to pay for a shirt that I stained. These were not stains, they were burn marks, possibly from chemicals. She made no offer to satisfy me, only accusations. HOW INSULTING. I only wore that shirt 2 times and brought it to them to clean both times. She didn't offer to send the garment to the International Textile Analysis Laboratory to determine the cause of the problem. She didn't even offer to refund my money for the initial cleaning! Basically I paid her $1.50 to ruin a brand new $120 shirt. Thanks Judy and Lasand Cleaners. You lost a regular customer and I hope this review helps others to save their clothes from ruin.
- Pros: claim to have top of the line equipment
- Cons: ruins clothes consistently, don't resolve their mistakes reasonably
