Not a good experience. I am not sure why our experience was so different than the other reviewers, but this is one of the worst fine dining meals I have had in years. Our waiter was aloof and took forever to greet us. She rarely checked back with us and after we complained to a manager, she was downright nasty to us. The food was average, certainly not what I expected. My salad was bland, my pork was tough and not very hot, my husbands pasta and meatballs were alright, but not anything to write home about. The homemade bread the served was actually burnt on the bottom,. we were surprised they served it to us. When I pay more than $35 per person for a meal, I expect the food to be memorable and I should want to eat everything on my plate--I didn't! Everyone that was sitting in our section of the restaurant was waiting for food for a very long time. While we were all waiting you could see everyone's drinks going empty. None of the servers or their assistants came to us and apologized for the wait. It was pretty terrible to watch all of the people around us getting agitated and waving down servers so they could get a drink or water refill. When my husband asked for a mgr and complained at the end of the meal, the mgr comped 1/2 of our bill, which made us a feel a little bit better about our experience. However, you are better off getting a burger at the pool bar--save your fine dining budget for restaurants off hotel property!

Great Food & Service, Quite Noisy. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The only draw back was that we found the restaurant to be very noisy. There was a large party in the bar area that was quite loud and the background music was turned up to try and cover their noise. It is supposed to be a romantic restaurant but with all the noise it was not a very enjoyable evening. The first time we dined there it was much quieter. Maybe just the time of year. I would definitely go back again and hopefully it will be quieter and more romantic.

fantastic !!!!. Primo was an amazing dining experience from beginning to end.

The service was perfect and the food divine!

The wait staff was knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful not only did they make us feel like kings but they all looked like models.

the Maitre'D was very helpful with our special evening.

the J.W. Marriott was breathtaking

while we had dinner we could see fireworks going off in the distance and we loved the Pork and the wine list rocked! try it i think it is the best new restaurant in Orlando by far.

the bar was packed with pretty people drinking wine in huge glasses...great place

Inventive New American creations upstage a grand resort setting.. The Scene
Breathtaking views of a man-made tropical pool and surrounding designer golf course serve as backdrops for the signature restaurant inside the 26-story Grande Lakes hotel. Dark-leather furniture, dim lighting and intimate table arrangements fill the dining room. As the evening proceeds the waitstaff's attention can wane, its only flaw.

The Food
Chef Melissa Kelly made her reputation in Maine for creating complex dishes largely from locally grown or raised products that change with the seasons. Her philosophy directs the menu here, too. Begin with a delicate goat cheese parfait with layers of organic beets, apples and shallots, or choose a crispy Montasio cheese crepe with sausage. Truffle butter brings out the earthiness of aged New York strip steak. Sage-infused mushroom-Madeira pork scaloppine are tender and flavorful. Desserts are divine and irresistible: start with the crème brulée trio.
