Nordstrom In-Store Restaurant Nourishes You!. Nordstrom is OKAY...and it is the FACT: they sell much of what you can get most anywhere. The piano playing is nice, But, really, what's the big deal??? It's JUST a STORE, folks and all they want from you is your money (or credit card) NOT your undying devotion. If their sales figures ever slip- they'll leave you in a hurry without a kiss Goodbye! It's a pitiful, sorry thing when lonely people think they can substitute deep, rich and meaningful relationships with true friends and family for the momentary cheap thrill of buying what you really really don't need and a empty chat and fixed smile from a sales clerk on commission. Really, you can get THAT from any store or boutique that fancies itself God's gift to lightening your load at the bank. But, their in-store restaurant's not bad for a bite, and at least that's the only real nurturing nourishment you are actually ever going to get out of the place, lonely hearts, take heart!

Founded as a Seattle shoe store in 1901, this popular chain is now known for manageably priced designer duds. Shoppers find a hint of sophistication in the store's white floors and pianists on baby grands. Unique departments include the Brass Plum juniors' section with Ruby Rox and Diesel, and Studio 121 for career-savvy women. A business-centric men's clothing department offers Ben Sherman suits, while relaxed styles from Marc Jacobs and Lacoste are in The Rail department.

Shoe heaven!. How can you not love this store and I shop a lot. The fashions are up to date. They have employees that care about their jobs and know about service. And the shoes, oh the shoes!!! I see stuff here I don't see anywhere else. Why isn't Nordstrum's at the International Mall? It should be!

The way it oughta be.. I am a big fan of Nordstrums. I go out of my way to spend my money here because they clearly value my business. It goes without saying that their products are top notch but most of what they sell can be found elsewhere. They earn my business because they are attentive and helpful at every turn. You don't have to go "find someone" to help you- they will find you before you've even thought about asking for assistance. Ever try to return an item without a receipt? Not a problem here- they will take anything back- no questions asked. There's a live pianist playing in the center of the store and a shoe shine guy who shines em up for $2.50. The Macy's and Bloomy's of the worlds could learn a lesson from these folks. I actually look forward to visiting this store and travel a long way to the Florida mall because Nordstrum's is there.
