Wonderful experience!

I selected Advanced Skin Care after reading a few reviews on Citysearch. I was from out of town and had to be directed by telephone by the very friendly receptionist.

I was assigned to Ginger for my Microdermabrasion facial.

She was so lovely and professional. She put paraffin wax on my hands and gave a great neck massage during the facial. I recommend this spa to anyone seeking a professional, friendly and unpretentious setting. Next time I visit I plan to spend the entire day.

Great Experience

I chose this spa due to location, pricing and overall past reviews. I had the hour long swedish massage with Nita. She is charming and informative when you feel like talking; but she can also take the hint for a quiet and relaxing session if you don't want the chit chat. She was very accomodating and I was happy to learn that she has late hours several times a week. The location was easy to find with plenty of parking in the back of the building. The pricing was great especially when I combined with a new client special. I will make it a point to go back next month for a facial and massage combo.

Have heard great things but a word of caution!

Found their website and was considering going. Have several friends that think highly of the establishment.

Would not recommend using Lisa Gaston for services.

While at Bougainvillea Clinique Medical Day Spa where she used to work, she attempted to provide me with a pedicure - attempted being the key word. She was late for the appointment and didn't have her materials - she had to get them out of her car. The brush was covered in hair (looked like dog hair). She was apologetic about her inexperience - but for the price I expected competance at least. She was unprofessional and spent much of the session sharing her problems with her ex-husband and going on and on about her son. I should have charged her for a counseling session.

I may try the other services - and to be fair, maybe she has received additional (and much needed) training.

Buyer beware.
