The Scene – Lagasse's second Orlando outpost is hidden in the depths of family-friendly Royal Pacific resort and made up like a lush cavern. A very long, gurgling lily pond surrounded by low booths runs through the center. Subdued strains of Dixie jazz are juxtaposed with the nouveau tiki decor to create an unmistakable atmosphere. – – The Food – The kitchen tweaks a number of Pacific Rim standards (crispy whole fish, pork variations), adding enough sides to turn most dishes into platters. Move over Emeril, Richie's in the kitchen!

You simply have to try this restaurant. Just had dinner here last night after 2 weeks touring all the finest rest. in Aspen CO. Short story, there is no better restaurant - bar none. Chef Greg Richie's brought many of the exquisite Asian - Pacific fusion flavors he developed and made famous at Roy's rest, and turned it up a notch. Phenomenal apps. and a very different salad, but the kicker is the grouper entree. Perfectly cooked fish with a sweet, yet subtle flavor. Also, not normally desert people, but decided to try the home made sorbets. Incredible, light and satisfying! If you want a dinner experience that sets the bar above all the other restaurants, this is it. Service was also right on, which can sometimes be missing in Orlando.

My husband and I decided that this was the perfect place as a Christmas present for our family of 8. Emeril?s reputation and great restaurants made it an easy pick for us. The service was very poor, even when two waitresses were helping our party. The restaurant was not full that evening and two of the items that we ask for never got to our table. The restrooms were a disaster. I don?t know how a manager can?t take care of such a small detail that makes such a big statement of a place. We left the restaurant very disappointed. The WOW effect that we were waiting for was a negative one.
WONDERFUL- will definately go back!
