Orlando >Thai Singha
By far the best Thai and sushi we ever had!. this place is awesome. Very consistent with food quality. The red curry is awesome! The sushi is so good! The happy hour specials are a steal! The cashew and lamb are very tasty. My son loves the spring rolls and the steak sticks. Service is always friendly they remember you when you walk in the door. Best place to eat in Waterford!
Great Food and Atmosphere!!!. Went with my Wife and Mom after an afternoon of shopping and watching a movie, felt hungry and drove around waterford lakes and my wife said ohhh look a thai restaurant. so we went, had a great time and the service was excelllent. highly recommended!!!
I've been here a couple of times, but I only go back because the food is truly good. The service can vary, depending on the time of the month or something, I don't know.
One time, I went there, not knowing what time they open for dinner. We got there a few minutes after 5, and they open at 5. We knocked, and the waitresses looked at us and then turned around, when they finally did open the doors for us, the service was HORRIBLE. they were rude, made sure we paid the whole bill, including the gratuity they added (we had 5 or 6 people), right in front of us.
But, the food is always good. I only order chicken pad thai, but it always hits the spot. Lately, I've just been getting take out, because I really can't deal with rude servers.
The best food and great customer service!!. i'm asian..i know a lot about asian food because i'm a chef in 5 star restaurant..I eat out almost everyday..i love food here..not just very good food, sevice over here is the best too! i order almost everything in the menu..nothing i don't like. All sever they are very nice and friendly. They take care me very good everytime i been there..i love seafood.. i always order crazy coconut soup.. and seafood curry it the best! food overthere pretty big...when i order i never finish it..i have to take home for my next meal all the time! good for me..i pay one time but i get 2 meal...This is Highly Recommended restaurant..good food and great service!!!
Delicious food with incredibly rude service..
If you want to be nickel-and-dimed and talked down to like a dis-obedient child, this is the place for you. The nickel and dime part - there are no refills on soda.
The rude part.... I asked to have a vegetable that I can't eat (Broccoli) removed from the dish I was ordering and asked for carrots instead. They told me I had to have Broccoli, and I told them I can't eat it. Then they told me "carrots don't really go with that" dish. Then the waitress went to talk to the manager to see if she could get permission to change out this vegetable. She came back and with a stern face reprimanded me "We never do this! We will do it this time! But we will never do it again! You cannot ask for this again! and you cannot send your food back!"
The food is tasty. The prices are good. But they are very sensitive about accommodating requests. If you have a food allergy or preference and want to be accommodated consider going elsewhere or be prepared to be treated with incredible rudeness.
great food...great service.
We frequently dine here and love the consistent great food. Also, great for take out! I would recommend the
Thai beef salad and any of the soups. They are great healthy choices!
They Charge You Twice!!.
I went there last Saturday after several months with a friend from out of town. I used to like the food there. I specifically asked for a soup without shrimp since I am allergic to sea food. As soon as I had the soup, I started feeling sick. It got worse later in the day.
To add insul to injury, the next day I found out that they had billed the total amount twice on my charge card. I am still sorting this out.
The Bottom Line: Check your charges if you use your card there. I am never going there again. There are plenty of good Thai restaurants in Orlando.
Best Thai Food in Town. I don't know what the person who ordered Thom Kha Gai is talking about because what they got is what they ordered. THOM YUM is actually the LEMON GRASS SOUP. THOM KHA GAI is COCONUT SOUP I'm Thai so I would know. Thai Singha is by far the best Thai food that I have had in Orlando. If you can't use the Thai words correctly then you should just read the menu and say it in English. I've tried many other restaurants like Thai House and I have to say that the portions at Thai Singha are very fair. Not only that, but the food is delicious. I recommend the Chicken Basil (Chicken Kra Prao). It's a little spicy and sweet with a great fragrance from the basil. The Ice Green Tea is also out of this world. Friday nights are usually busy so go early. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try some real delicious and authentic Thai food.
Americanized to oblivion. When I visit a Thai restaurant for the first time, I usually order a standard: Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, and Cha Yen. I figure if they do a good job with those, then it's worth coming back to explore the rest of the menu. I knew I was in trouble when the waiter said "You want chicken in coconut milk, right?" No, I wanted Tom Kha Gai. I got chicken in coconut milk. If your idea of exotic food is eating at Wendy's rather than McDonalds, you might find this appealing. I didn't. Pity: nice, friendly couple running the place. I just wish they could cook.
Awsome. The Best thai food me and my thai boyfriend have ever had in a restaurant
