What a great salon, Shear Madness Hair, thank you!!!!!!!!!

Since I am new to the Orlando area, I decided to search for a full service salon that could take take care of my hair, nails and feet. While on City Search, I came across Shear Madnees Hair Studio. I read the reviews and decided to make an appointment. I was told since it was my first visit, I could receive 20% off of my services, that truly excited me. When I walked in, I was impressed by the decor and how friendly the staff was. The salon had a wonderful warm vibe. My stylist was very knowledgable. She was able to color and style my hair in a way that made me feel and look pretty. I then went over for my mani/pedi, she was a true professional, she massaged my hands and feet. It was great. I was then told that they offer massages, I didn't get it done that day, but I will soon. Shear Madness thank you very much. You are everything a salon should be!!!!!!!!

Disapointed

Because of the excellent reviews online I thought I would give shear madness a try. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was a little disapointed. The salon has a cold vibe. My stylist did not seem like she enjoyed her job at all. I was shocked by some of the conversations I was hearing. A lot of cursing, a lot of complaining about the boss and a lot of sex talk. And one of the stylists was eating in his chair. I thought it was very gross and disrespectful. When I go to a salon I want it to be a relaxing time. My highlights turned out decent. The price is alright for what your getting. But I would rather spend more if I am going to get pampered.

2 weeks later my highlights have faded out, and my haircut is AWFUL, I had to have it redone at a different salon! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Only place i have gotten my hair cut in several years

Laurie has been cutting my hair for several years, I would not go anywhere else.

The entire staff at Shear Madness is very nice and professional. I would suggest suggest this establishment to to anyone!

Best Hairdresser and Massage Therapist all in one place!

I went to Shear Madness based on their reviews and I must say I’m very pleased. I moved here from Sarasota and it has been impossible to find somebody who can get my cut, color and highlights just the way I like them. I have tried at least five different places and I’m so relieved to now have finally found Azalia. My hair came out perfect. I went to my cousin’s wedding that weekend and I have never had so many compliments on my hair and trust me my family is very honest and opinionated so it felt really good. I highly recommend her to anyone stuck with a hairdresser they don’t like, want a fresh new look or want someone who actually listens to exactly what you want and doesn’t go off and do their own thing. We’ve all had those experiences I assume.

One more thing, I didn’t know they offered massages so while I was getting my hair done I asked for an appointment, (they were running a special of $45.00 an hour until the end of August) and they fit me in after my hair was finished. Samantha is their massage therapist and she will now be my regular massage therapist. I wasn’t expecting to actually find somebody who could finally get it right. Even if your not getting your hair done, you should at least get a massage, it’s one of the best I’ve had in probably the past three years and I get a lot of them. I just can’t say enough things about this place. I’ve only written one other review about a company in my life, so that should tell you something. I know how frustrating it can be to move from somewhere and have to find someone new all over again so I hope this helps.

Finding the right fit

Just moved from Denver, Colorado and was looking for good reviews on a hair salon in my area. I read that Shear Madness had many great comments, specifically on one particular stylist named Azalia Justin. I have shorter hair and as anyone knows with a short cut it can be very tricky to get it right! I took in some pictures of what I was looking for, which I recommend to everyone, I received excellent imput from Azalia as to what would actually work with my hair type. I was impressed she took her time to listen and I was very happy with the outcome! Everyone wants to look hot and sexy don't they! Thanks to Azalia for making me look and feel great!
