Wonderful Experience

by mrsd97

I was already a big fan of the Residence Inn because of their reasonable prices (plus has military discount) along wtih getting a hot breakfast every day, having a kitchenette in the room and ability to get a suite with separate bedroom for Mom & Dad. But I have yet one more reason to be a fan after our latest trip to Orlando. It was my daughter's birthday and we asked the front desk if they did anything special (we were thinking maybe a balloon in the room or something). The front desk staff went above and beyond our expectations and helped our 7 year old daughter have a great birthday! Thanks so much!

  • Pros: Hot breakfast buffet, kitchenette, pool, GREAT service

Good value, especially for this area

by wildcatfan

The hotel appeared newer and was not right in the middle of the hotel strip on Park (which I liked). I had to call the desk to get Internet access set up, there are no directions in the room. It does cost, but the 5.99 a day rate isn't bad (they have to give you an access code to use).

The free morning breakfast buffet is great! It includes a different meat each day, plus eggs.

The nighttime offerings were not as good as other Residence Inn's I've been to (just cookies, pie, and the like instead of more of a light meal).

Keep in mind its near Disney, so there are a lot of kids running around the hotel. If you are there on business, this may or not bother you (It didn't bother me).

Still a really good value in my mind

  • Pros: value, breakfast buffet
