Worst HOA!!

That loser of a homeowner association president drives around on his pretentious golf cart nit picking minor infractions to use our dues (expensive dues not affordable at all.....its a public golf course people we don't pay for that) to send out certified mail letters about the most ridiculous stuff and in those letters threatens the use of legal action! The infraction that was sooo severe on our last statement was our oak tree....yes our oak tree had a few low branches and we were threatened with attorneys!! WOW!! with intense foreclosures in our neighborhood with abandoned homes and people so far behind in dues he actually wants to nit pick my oak tree?!? It almost makes me want to let this go to court to see how much a judge really cares!! by the way I must only assume everyone in the neighborhood got this letter based on the looks of their oak trees.....glad to see our money is going to good use while the things that really matter are not getting taken care of.

To add to this hitler regime we have a fellow homeowner who threw a party for his daughter and all the guests were turned away at the gate and told by the guard that they were not allowed in because the homeowner had not paid his dues!!! Beyond the obvious giving out personal information.....apparently we are prisoners who are told who can and cannot visit us!!! I don't care how behind you are.....you should never be kept out of your neighborhood and your guests should ALWAYS be allowed to visit you!! I think you can guess that this homeowner has pursued legal action himself!

STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this neighborhood!! Lest become another victim and find yourself behind your own prison for which you pay for! No one in this entire neighborhood except those on the board feel its run correctly and fairly. How could they? its just factual! so this nonsense about you can't please everyone is retarded. Thats a cop out for not doing your job correctly and in such an obvious way. I have also lived in this neighborhood for 5 years. Never late on my dues. I have also watched it go from a wonderful, full of life community to this offensive bullying situation and the only difference was the board getting turned over to the idiots who currently run it. We use to have festivals....what happened to those? Oh yea the bad economy....OR perhaps paying attorneys for my oak tree?

My only guess radzfl is that you yourself are on the board or you live with one who is. Hope you are having a hay day with the bullying. I have a few weeds around my pool....make sure you stay on top of those. Sorry you didn't make glue monitor in second grade, but this is soo much more of a power position you must feel on top of the world.

Great place to live !!!

Having lived in SBW for over 6 years, we find it a great place to live. It is situated around one of the best golf courses in the area. Our Board of Directors has done a fantastic job managing the property, escpecially in this tough time, as we have been affected by the housing issues with foreclosures, non paymet of HOA fee, etc.

Lately, ONE resident has taken it upon himself to say some very negatives things about our community and its BOD as HE did not pay his HOA fees and the BOD enacted the legal remedies for this. Its too bad ONE resident tries to make a great situation look bad.

We have 1225 houses here with over 4000 residents and you can never please anyone.

If you can please 90% that means you will have 122 disgruntled folks.

BUT, we have only 4 or 5 negative posts, or less than 1%, so we must be doing something right.

We have NEVER had an assessment and the place looks great. That says it all.

IF you are looking to live in a great, AFFORDABLE, WELL RUN community, come join the 99% of us happy residents as Stoneybrook West !!!!!

HOA Lawyer ruins community for new members.

HOA Lawyer is more concerned about making money for himself than getting foreclosures sold and thus keeping property values high.
