Hoping it was just this one time.. My husband and I enjoy going here with our grandchildren and recently the service has been a bit lacking. I always enjoy the food but when the service is very down hill, it is hard to enjoy the meal. I hope it was just an few off nights we experienced recently.

Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain.. In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

Might change your name, guys.. I've been to Cheesecake Factory a few times. The food's always been good, but nothing special (it's still puzzling to me why they think they need to cover every genre of food out there) and the service is okay. It's what I would expect from this kind of chain. No better or worse than their chain competition.

The part where they fail. Fail horribly. Terribly. And why I have no idea where they got their name from. The cheesecake is terrible. And by terrible, I mean you might as well mix up that nasty jell-o cheesecake mix. Look, I'm not a baker and I bake a better cheesecake. Even COSTCO's bakery destroys theirs. There's a reason they have 50 types of cheesecake. They hope you pick a piece that's flavored beyond recognition....which isn't hard. I know why the wait staff encouraged me not to get the regular cheesecake now. I would have done the same thing. I'm a cheesecake nut, don't get me wrong. It's my favorite desert. It's just a shame that people think that THIS is what cheesecake is. I think there's more sugar in their cheesecake than there is actually cream cheese and the texture is just all off. Go to one of our towns fine bakeries and see what you've been missing!

One word......GODIVA. I love sweets, I have a huge sweet tooth and nothing does it for me like the Cheesecake Factory's Godiva cheescake. Its about 7.25 a slice and that does sound a little steep but definitely take my word for it when I say its worth every penny.

Definitely Not A "Cheap Eat" Place. I've been to The Cheesecake Factory twice, once with my fiancee´ and another time with a group of 3 other people. The first time, we only had dessert and the bill was $20. I'm not sure about you, but this seems a bit steep for dessert. When I went there the second time, we waited almost 30 minutes to be seated at 3 in the afternoon. While the ambience of the restaurant is nice and the staff is polite, the food is average and not worth the high price.
