Best anti pasta ever!. Such a cute place, feels like you are in someones house! Great food at a great price. This has become one of our favorite places in College Park
Find a stellar wine list and rich Italian fare at this friendly College Park eatery..
In Short
With warm Italian decor and a friendly staff, Chef Armando Martorelli has created one of the most adored dining establishments in town. Dishes include many homemade pasta creations like the gnocchi alla Napoletana, a platter of potato dumplings baked with mozzarella and marinara. The light, thin-crust pizzas are popular, as is the house specialty, pollo Babbo. As many as eight specials are featured daily and entrees are reasonably priced.
Good eats, cheap. Talk about good food that's inexpensive. This place seriously may be the best value in Orlando. It is nothing fancy but the food is excellent and the wait staff is on the ball. I think they are all from Italy...but anyway. The wine list was extensive and the dishes were cooked in a way that really seperates Babbo from many other Italian joints. The digs are somewhat cramped but that's fine. The staff is accomodating with larger groups. Don't bring kids in strollers! Everyone has to get out of their seat for you to stroll by. Not good.
These guys make you feel like family!. We initially tried Babbos back in July, and have been returning ever since. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance says simple but attentive to detail - which is an understatement to their service. Everything we have tried on the menu has been excellent - all the way down to the lobster raviollis. We enjoyed the family atmosphere so much - we decided to throw a 22 person going away party here - it became the most memorable part of her stay in Orlando. Thanks to the Babbo family - our recommendation comes with the highest compliments. Genuinely nice service is unmatched in Orlando.
Excellent Service. We visited Babbo for the first time last week, on our way to see Rent at the Bob Carr. We were running late from Mount Dora and had only an hour to eat before we had to leave for the theater. We explained this to our server who was understanding - and took us seriously. We had our drinks, appetizers and salads within 5 minutes of our order; our main course within 15 minutes and we were not rushed at all! And the food was really very good, too! We even had time to have a second glass of wine and hang out a bit. Excellent service, good food and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be dining at Babbo again soon!
