Just plain dreamy

We took my 3 year old daugther for her first "real" tea experience at Garden Gate. It was just amazing. She was in awe of the lovely women in flowy, gardeny dresses - who were all SO very kind and welcoming to her (several apparently are early childhood educators, too).

The decor is incredible - rose patterns, eyelet, lace, tea sets - and the harp music, well, it's just like having tea with nymphs. My daughter keeps talking about the "beautiful tea ladies" - we had to go back the next day because it was such a lovely treat.

Skip tea with the Disney Princesses and take your daugther somewhere truly special.

Also a lovely place for any special celebration (showers, birthdays, etc) for grown ups.

• Pros: Beautiful, serene, delicious, beyond hospitable
• Cons: Hours somewhat limited (only relelvant w/sm kids who nap)
