28.522613 -81.375452This doctor AND his staff are the WORST OF FLORIDA!. First appt. was horrible! Had some front desk clerk who could not spell words like 'road' or 'house'! Office manager could not get up off her butt to help determine what my co-pay was, although I knew it was $35! When she finally came out 1 hour later she said it was $395!! Then said if I did not want to pay that I could just leave...and I have TWO insurance companies which this dr. participates in! Then be prepared to wait a MINIMUM of 1.5 PLUS hours PAST your appointment time! Only to find assistants that can't speak English and record your medical history incorrectly! The doctor is just as bad. He gets up and leaves in the middle of your appt, in the middle of conversations for who knows why. Then he talks right over you, never allowing you to discuss your problems. The office is dirty and gross and stinks. Urine samples must be taken in the waiting room restroom for everyone to see. Then again you wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. Second appt. was worse! Waited close to three hours to see the doctor. Then non English speaking assistant had all my current medications recorded wrong! That's when I walked out and demanded my money back. I was refunded the overcollected co-pay four weeks later, along with the co-pay paid when I waited three hours to see the goof ball doctor..who is no better at speaking English than 90% of his staff. So if you really care about your health care DON'T USE THIS DOCTOR! Save the frustration, your money, your temper, and just maybe your own life! This doctor is a pig! And his staff are idiots who can't spell or speak English!
BEYOND HORRID. This is by far the worst practice I have ever experienced (and I have been to my fair share of doctors since being diagnosed). Dr. S. is DEFINITELY on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to bedside manner. He had me diagnosed and practically on death's door 20 minutes after meeting me (and performing NO tests of any kind, strictly through my answers to questions and his manipulation of my limbs). During one appointment, I posed a question to him about something I had read on the internet about my condition and he proceeded to shake his finger in my face and tell me to stay away from the computer and only listen to him (in a very mean spirited tone). While I dont need a doctor to be all warm and fuzzy, I dont wish them to be meaner than a snake either - which is what he was.
Premier Arthritis Specialist. Dr Shiekh is the best arthritis/gout Doc I've seen. He understands the disease and how to make you feel better. He quiet and straight to the point. His office is not located in the most accessible spot and it is not going to win the office design of the year award. However, if you looking for relief from your pain and do not need to be cuddled, see Dr S.
Worst Doctor's Experience Ever. This was the worst doctor's appointment ever. Everything from the office staff, cleanliness of the facility, and the doctor's lack of compassion was terrible. Dr. Sheikh seemed uninterested in my extensive health history, rushed, and annoyed when asked to clarify his conclusions. Conclusions that were based on minimal conversation and very little tests. He appeared defensive when I asked questions and immediately told me I could go somewhere else for another opinion if I'd like. Which I did.
