My husband rented a car late March/08. I phoned to make a reservation and I thought that I had asked all the right questions. Asked what type of car (told Ford or Chev) never got either, asked about unlimited mileage and told that mileage was fine as long as you weren't travelling out of state. We should have realized that something wasn't right when there was a notice on the counter saying that there would be a charge if you cancelled the reservation after the paperwork was started.. There was actually only 100 miles allowed per day with an additional charge after that. We drove to Fort Myers one day and used over half of the alloted milage. And the car they gave us (after everything was signed) was a 3 year old car, with a lot of miles and squeaky brakes. It wasn't cleaned and vacumned and the front of the car was covered with paint chips. And the gas guage was on empty, so we had to get gas immediately. When I questioned the allowed mileage,Sam said that it was because of the good rate ($159 wk) that he gave us. Next time we'll spent the extra $10-20 per week and rent from the other rental very close by and get a newer car with unlimited milage. Counter staff (whick was only Sam) was very impersonal, trying to answer phones and serve customers and giving instructions to other staff concerning pickups.
Pros: We choose this business because of their advertising and convenient pickup.
Cons: Got 3 year old car, not in the condition that we expected of a car rental company, and not truthful about unlimited mileage.

Priceless- Rent- A- Car of davenport is the best place I rented a car from. Sam the manager is awesome and gives amazing special rates. they treat you like the way they want to be treated. the office is comforting and welcomeing along with there clean and low milage cars, the cars range from a small sedan to a full size all the way to a large van. if I go back to orlando I will go to priceless. They also have pick up services from the airport for a convient and afordable price because if you come for vacation you want to be wise with money so nobody rips you off. Sam and Kim are the best people I have met. kim is the assistant manager.
