This hot spot on "The Drive" has a knack for facilitating both business and pleasure needs..
The Scene
Often compared to the Peabody Orlando (sans cachet and refinement) for its heavy convention business, this V-shaped sandstone tower sits adjacent to the Convention Center. Shades of pink and dusty rose dominate, while sea foam-green walls and paintings of old Florida postcards behind the registration desk provide a retro regional flavor.
The Details
Rooms are comfortable and well-stocked with standard amenities and decor that varies, although all share an underlying Florida-style theme. Guests can relax at the keyhole-shaped pool on a Mediterranean-style terrace, in the Lobby Bar with its own microbrewery, or at Everglades restaurant, serving such specialties as alligator, venison and boa. There's also the vast Body & Sol Spa. If you brought family along for the ride, there are baby-sitting services, private tour guides and proximity to all major area parks and complexes.

Good stay for Business or Pleasure.
Recently spent several nights at the Rosen Centre. High points were the staff, cleanliness, pool and location. Sea World and Universal Studios are only five minutes away. While I did not use the pool, it was quite large and looked clean. I was a bit dissapointed in the overall room but I can't complain given the price of the hotel. A decent choice for lodgings in the Orlando area.
