Roach Haven!!!.
Took my family out for my brother's birthday! Everything seemed to be going fine, the soups were hot and nice. Then the General Tao's chicken that I ordered was good. Just as I was finishing up, I found a Cockroach in my food!!!
It was a big shock and I nearly threw up. I have been comtemplating informing the health department on this! Ruined the whole meal and our day as well.
Have a couple of nice pictures on my cell for proof!

Overpriced and greasy! Terrible service!.
We went there on a saturday to have lunch and to watch the Chinese New Year festivity perfomances. We arrived a little after 1:00pm. We wanted to order the lunch specials but was told by the waitress that they don't serve that on weekends. We checked out the Dim Sum portion of the menu and it was not even a half page of stuff available...so pathetic! So we ordered two appetizers and two main dinner dishes (for lunch) because we didn't want to be rude and get up and leave. The appetizers were small and mediocre. When the main dishes came they were just plates of greasy mess!
The restuarant got crowded all of sudden with groups of senior citizens. I didn't notice any asian people in the restaurant other than the staff. This is usually a bad indication. When we were almost done the server came with the check so I told her that we were waiting also for the Chinese New Year performance
(10 minutes away). A guy came by and took my credit card and came back to tell us that the table we were sitting at is reserved and that we could watch the performances from the street. How incredibly rude...our bill for lunch was over 55.00 and we couldn't sit there a few minutes longer? If the table was reserved why didn't they tell us in the first place?
Chan's Chinese Restuarant on Colonial Drive is always packed with asian customers...why? ...Because their food is authentic and their dim sum is to die for! I love it and my co-workers love it! Even PF Changs is better compared to Eastern Pearl.

Pure, simple, elegant......
Just a few words that I used to describe this truly unique Restaurant. Great food and great service at reasonable prices round out this gem. If you like your Chinese food on the sweeter end of the scale, I would higly recommend the Crispy Beef. For the seafood lover in you, the Mango Shrimp is truly a delight. "Try it, you will like it."

Great tofu.
their tofu in sesame sauce is great....they are pricey though that's the one downfall for myself. Other than that good food, not worth the price.
