Robert Shealey's Lawn & Maintenanc. My experience with Mr. Shealey was great. I have had others knock on my door offering me lawn services quotes and by far his quote was the most competitive. September 3, 2011 Mr. Shealey completed re-sod of my front lawn, and redesigned my front yard, trimming the edges, mulch, plants and flowers we are very happy and everything looks beautiful.

Robert Shealey's Lawn. I wish I had read nothappy407's review before I hired this outfit. My experience was almost exactly the same as his/hers! The same thing happened to my neighbor. The guy makes all kinds of promises, comes in with low-ball quotes, then keeps suggesting new things to do, collects heavy advance fees, but doesn't finish any of the work and just disappears. He won't even return phone calls. Bottom line, he ended up padding the job 3-1/2 times over the original quote and collected over half of what was to be the final fee in advance, but didn't even finish the original work agreed upon. He did the same thing with my neighbor. Shame on me for not checking this guy out in the first place!

Avoid at all Cost. I would suggest to anyone who is approached by this guy not to use him. After several attempts of offering us his business and so-called "expertise" in the business, we finally gave him the opportunity to do our lawn.

That consisted of re-sodding the entire front yard (which was not completed), fixing our sprinklers (they were fine and he made them even worst; they actually do not work now), removing two trees from the yard (one of the stumps is still there that they said they were going to remove), and placing mulch throughout the yard (which was not done completely so I had to purchase more bags).

We started off at one price, and within three days, the price almost tripled. My biggest mistake was paying in full the day before he said he was going to be done so he can take care of some things. As you already know, he has not returned to finish what he promised to do and it has been 7 weeks now. Luckily, it has been downpouring for most of the time or all the grass that was put in would have died.

Numerous calls were made with as many voicemails left. For the first 3 weeks I got excuse after excuse and that he will be at our house the next day which he never did. After that, I had to start calling from other numbers since he was not answering my number any longer. Not even a phone call from my lawyer made this guy come finish the work. Well, I probably lost my money but I can warn others of this untrustworthy business.

I implore anyone who is thinking of using this lawn service to move onto the next one. From my experience, they will break their commitments without any concern for the customer.
