Nice folks, friendly servce but NOT AUTHENTIC, not even close.
Hello Italian Food Lovers
I as being close to 60yrs old and a 3rd generation American born Citizen full blooded male of 100% Italian decent can testify that I am 100% fully qualified to rate an authentic Italian resturaunt/pizza place as being authentic or phony. I'm 100% Italian born in a predominitly authhentic Italian neighborhood in North NJ and raised, eat/slept/drank/lived authentic Italian.
The Italian Village Pizza place on Edgewater & Lee Rd offends my Italian heritage to call it's self " ITALIAN VILLAGE PIZZA"
The people are nice, pleasant and service etc is all good but the place is NOT AUTHENTIC Italian.
If your new to the area or just wanting to enjoy a simple honest true real AUTHENTIC prepared and cooked Italian pizza or dish please don't get very disapointed and go find your self AUTHENTIC Italian food some where else. I don't think I'm allowed to say in this review.. But be careful when in Orlando and wanting a simple real Italian dish or pizza.. I find most places to call them selves Italian food but most are not Authentic Italian and don't know the 1st thing about Authentic Italian food OR pizza. So if wanting a delicous Italian sause and Semolina pasta cooked & '"PROPERLY" seasoned to perfection please be careful and I would recommend calling first and asking if they are an AUTHENTIC Italian eatery. Most aren't. I only found a very short list few who are.
