You are not missing anything.. This is not Southern cooking. I had the floured beef, sweet potato casserole, and the collard greens. The food is bland. The floured beef looked and tasted like something that was previously frozen. The sweet potato casserole tasted like a box sweet potato casserole. Finally the collard greens had no seasonings to it. Everybody that knows how to make collard greens knows that you have to season it with hog meat. They just boiled them in water without adding anything. Collard greens are not suppose to taste like boiled water.

Their breakfast is probably good. However, how do you mess up breakfast?

I have been wanting to try them for a while but, every time I drive by they are closed. I see now that I haven't missed anything.

Great Breakfast. Every time I walk into this simple little restaurant, I think I will try something other than breakfast....and it never happens. The best biscuits and gravy since Grandma's. Tasty pancakes, sausage, bacon...all things breakfast. One day I will make it to the lunch menu, maybe. The service is usually good, ocassionally slow but typically good value and quality.
