Founded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Store features include a computerized system connecting pharmacies nationwide via satellite, grocery-store food aisles, one-hour photofinishing and an automated phone system for prescription refills and pre-arranged pickup times. Other services include in-store flu shots and childhood immunizations.

Walgreens. Walgreens is clean, friendly and upbeat pharmacy. Most of the time the service is great, once in a while there is a long wait but that is out of their hands. They are always attentive and have always treated me well whenever I have to pick up my medications. It is much cleaner than CVS or WalMart.

The Worst Pharmacy Customer Service. After going there for years, I've had enough!.
Pharmacy review:
Horrible customer service by and large. Have lots of time to wait in line and be treated like a number or spend a REAL 30 minutes on the phone to talk to a Pharmacist at most times? Then this the place is for you. I was sent on hold before someone even spoke to me and every time the music on the phone stopped and the phone would start to ring the people at the other end would pick up the phone without saying a word and send me back in queue with the horrible music on hold.
SAD SAD SAD. Do yourself a favor go to another store.
