I came to this dentist as it's one of the few our insurance covers. We had a horrible experience with a chain and they wanted to do $800 worth of work on my 6 yr old's baby teeth, including re-filling cavities they had already filled! The chain told me my daughter would have to go to a ped dentist, which my insurance doesn't cover. I called ADC and my daughter had an appointment within a week, which is rare for a dentist! The dentist was very good with her and had no problem working in her "small mouth", she also told me that 90% of the work the chain wanted to do was unnecessary, that she didn't need any re-fillings, they had just discolored. My daughter is going for a cleaning today. The hygenists aren't as friendly as the dentist, but we can live with that!
The only drawback is that there have been times we've had to wait a very long time to be called back to be seen. On one visit we waited over 3 hours because the dentist was dealing with a difficult patient. I understand and the dentist apologized profusely, but if I had known it was that long I would have rescheduled as I had a toddler along for the appointment.
RUN FAR AWAY - horrible service!. I had originally hoped that this would turn out to be a good dental service, since it's one of the few my insurance covers. Unfortunately I was very wrong. From the first phone call things were bad. I had to leave a message because no one picked up. Then, no one called me back. Finally, I called back and set up an appointment, specifying that I needed a checkup AND a cleaning. I was called back 2 days before my appointment and cancelled (they left a message on my answering machine saying they would call me to reschedule). I waited a week for the call but it never came. I called them to reschedule - for 2 months later. I got to the office and found that they hadn't scheduled a cleaning, just a checkup - so I had to make another appointment - for 1.5 months later... I highly suspect the office of saying I needed a more expensive cleaning just to get more out of me and my insurance. But, that's beside the point. I ended up needing to reschedule due to family issues. It took 4 tries to get through to them (after refusing to leave a message, being put on hold for 5 minutes, and being hung up on). They said they'd have to call me back. So, I'll probably never hear back from them. We'll see. After I get this final bit of work done I am SO switching dentists, even if I have to pay for it out of pocket. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!!
