Editorial Review for Sam Music Bar Bistro – by Citysearch Staff

In Short
Live jazz music permeates this mature fusion establishment, where steak lovers flock for certified angus beef. The amber-lit interior is dense with brick and wood, and is marked by a scaling wraparound bar and picture boxes filled with music paraphernalia and art. Sam's serves steaks with a selection of rich sauces like peppercorn demiglaze, gorgonzola cream and bernaise sauce. The menu features distinct food styles, with recommended picks like the seared tuna sashimi in the Asian Corner, spicy buffalo shrimp in the American corner and spinach wontons in the Vegetarian Corner. On the outside patio, have a drink and a drag on a cigar.

Sam Sneads use to be one, if not the best place to go for Happy hour and stay for the food after your fill of drinks. But in the last few months a down word trend has been happening(maybe a change in management?), but the food and service like Elvis, it has left the building. The Calamari which was my favorite, the portion and flavor is not what it was and is very chewy. The food prices may have stayed the same, but quanity and quaility has gone down. The service is what has really left, servers use to know you by name and know your drinks now they barely know the menu. I use to love to go there, now can not recomend This Sam Sneads any more.

Pros: Location, Decor

Cons: , Service

I found this restaurant in this search and tried. My husband and I had a wonderful time there in our Olrando trip. My husband is steak lover and he said this was one of the best that he has ever had. Foods, atmosphere, service and price are all great. The manager walked to all tables and asked them about their satisfaction. I was very impressed.
