World class golfer Tom Fazio designed this natural-looking course, the
most difficult at Walt Disney World according to the pros.. The Course The wildlife is plentiful throughout the semi-rugged terrain that flanks the course, highlighted by a canyon-like ridge that's surrounded by trickling brooks and beautiful, wide-open lakes. Ospreys, lured to the area by cushy nesting platforms placed by Disney, are often spotted hanging out in the tall pines that skirt the fairway. In fact, there's quite a lot of wilderness to admire as you make the distance between tee-offs. Watch for red-tailed hawks soaring overhead as you negotiate the undulating hills and wooded par-3s. In all, there are 6,705 yards of greenery to traverse from the middle tee, and the greens fee includes an electric cart--don't be proud, you'll need it.
