Amazing Food and Service. My boyfriend and I are locals in the Orlando area with Disney annual passes, so we visit the parks (and the Disney restaurants) quite often. After a day in EPCOT, we walked across the bridge to the Yacht Club Resort to have dinner at the Yachtsman. We were a little early and had requested a window seat, so there was some wait. There is a lounge with a bar and TVs though, so the wait was bearable. We had great seats as we had requested (for those of you who are people watchers). The server was well trained and very knowledgable about the menu. I had the Filet Mignon which was tender and cooked exactly as I had asked. My boyfriend had the Porterhouse with similar comments. Side of mushrooms was good to share. Went for a walk along the beach after dinner. Overall great experience with no complaints. This is one of our favorites, a must for Disney visitors looking for a great dinner!

Outstanding!. This is by far, one of the best restaurants at Disney. The setting leaned toward formal, but the nautical theme made it somewhat relaxed. The service was excellent- the best I've ever had at a Disney restaurant. The waiter was attentive, but not disruptive. The steaks were great, but the side dishes were equally exciting. I had the lump crab and asparagus. Wow! I stuffed myself. I've eaten at almost every Disney restaurant, and this is certainly a place that I will return.

Great Steaks and Wonderful Atomosphere. I recently won a trip to the Epcot Food and Wine Fest from a local radio station and they put me up at the Disney Yacht Club so I made reservations and had dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The steaks were great, the service impecable and the atmosphere was nice and friendly. I highly recomend it.

GREAT STEAK. One of the best steak houses in the country.

Steak was superb as were the side dishes.

Service was friendly and timely.

Only critique is that there were no mushrooms or onion rings on the menu.

If you want a great steak worthy of the price--this is the place to go.

The Best in The World. As our favorite restaurant ever, we always dine there on our first and last nights at the resort (usually yearly). There is nothing to complain about, not even the screaming children mentioned by another reviewer. While the restaurant is very nicely appointed and looks pretty fancy, it is still part of a family resort. Family resorts have children at them. Sometimes children get fussy, and "Mickey meals" are a godsend. Absolutely wonderful winelist. Extra special treatment for special occasions (like my birthday). Go, go, go but make reservations first.

"BEST STEAKS" IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. MY WIFE AND I WERE INVITED BY A CO-WORKER TO HAVE DINNER WITH HIS FAMILY. HE HAS BEEN GOING FOR APPROX. 15 YEARS AND HAS HAD THE SAME WAITER. THE SALAD WAS GREAT AND THE STEAKS WERE THE FINEST MY WIFE AND I HAVE EVER HAD AND WE HAVE DONE SOME TRAVELING IN THIS COUNTRY TO MOST OF THE TOP STEAK HOUSES. YACHTSMAN STEAKHOUSE IS UP THERE WITH THE BEST IN THIS COUNTRY. I FEEL IT IS THE BEST IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. I'VE BEEN TO SOME ON THIS LIST AND I WAS NOT IMPRESSED.. I THINK THE PEOPLE WHO RATE ON THIS SITE NEED TO EXPAND THERE FOOD HORIZONS AND GET OFF THE COUCH AND GO TO YACHTSMAN STEAK HOUSE..

Special Occasions. I just celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary here and it was the perfect choice. Carlos our server was excellent, the food was excellent as was the the entire experience! We were seated immediately having used Disney's priority seating line before hand.

Expensive but worth it. The food is great and so is the service. You can get a nice table with a window view or be buried in the back of the restaurant.

The hassle is having to play the "Disney Game" as with all the restaurants on their property. This restaurant can be fairly empty and even with a reservation; you will probably be forced to wait to be seated.

The "trick" seems to be to make your reservation, but then tell them you are coming for a special occasion and you would like a window seat.

The other thing to be aware of is "mickey meals" for kids. Normally you wouldn't be bothered by screaming and unruly kids in a place this expensive. But ignorant parents are prone to bring their kids here because they can order very inexpensive "kid meals". It can ruin a great dinning experience..

Best Eating Experience. Yachtsman is perhaps the best eating experiance my family has ever had. Service was excellent, atmosphere wonderful and the Steak absolutely the most flavorful and delicious I have ever tasted.
