Editorial Review for Victoria & Albert's – by Mary Meehan
The Scene
Located in Disney's elaborate Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the interior has been decorated to resemble Queen Victoria's dining rooms. Service is exquisite. Each table receives the courteous, impeccable service of its own maid and butler.
The Food
The menu changes often, and it's impossible to say exactly what it may hold during your visit. But rest assured that everything will be delicious. If available, opt for the appetizer of pheasant breast served with blackberry glaze. For salads, try the unique blend of spinach, watercress and endive dressed in Gorgonzola and garnished with quail eggs. Main courses are varied, from veal topped with a sliver of white truffle to mahi mahi crusted with horseradish.

This is my husband and my "special occasion" restaurant. We go for the Chef's Table every time we can get a reservation. We have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always superb. The combinations are inventive without getting ridiculous. We always leave stuffed. Everything is delicious and even though you receive "samplings" of each dish, there is nothing that I would not want in a full portion. The food is always cooked to perfection and beautifully plated. What's not to like when one of the courses is a CHOCOLATE course!! The chef is informative and gracious and his approach to cooking is to use the best ingredients available. The Kobe Beef is always tender and flavorful. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for and here you pay for excellence. Go hungry and enjoy an evening to remember.
Pros: Wonderful food, great selection, quiet and romantic
Cons: Pricey - but worth it

The food was good but not good enough to be voted to be the best French food in Orlando. The menu looked great but the food itself is not as good as we thought. Foie gras was as good as people say. Other than that, nothing is outstanding. The fish was too dry. The kobe beef was not tender enough to be considered a 'kobe' beef. The wine paring was ok but not great. Coffee is fun to watch but it is just a regular coffee you can make at home. However, the Earl Grey tea was exceptional. What we disspointed most was the service. If you have been to the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta, you will know what the good service should be. Our servers don't seem like they are happy at what they are doing. After all, it is a good food but doesn't worth $400.
Pros: Disney
Cons: Taste, Service, Price
