The Goods
Watches, backpacks, pajamas, CD cases, spoon rests--if Mickey and his pals are on it, it's here. The Emporium's apparel, the Watch Shop's timepieces and the Candy Palace's sweets comprise a small fraction of the stock here. The heart of this 50,000-square-foot store (the largest Disney store in the world--complimentary maps are available inside) is the towering, two-story center atrium, which is crammed to the gills with more than 15,000 stuffed toys, trinkets, and sculptures.
The Scene
A giant video screen plays snippets from classic Disney films. The all-American smiles and "can-do" attitude of the staff are unquenchable, even under the duress of hordes of stroller-pushing moms and cuddling couples.
Price Tag
Low to high. Exclusive beanbag toys like Minnie the Starlet and Goofy the Grip are $10 each. Framed animation cels can run $800 or more.
