Using the Orlando airport is usually a smooth ride. The trains are constant and the signage is good. They even have a microbrewery! Other airports could learn a thing or two by how well this place is run.
I miss the Orlando Airport
by dexter555 at Citysearch
I used to live in Orlando. I really, really miss the airport. So easy to get in and out of (use the Terminal Top parking!), great shopping and food to pass the time, easy and fast to get to all the gates. I wish more airport designers would study the Orlando airport design and layout.
- Pros: Fast in and out, Easy to get to gates, Great shopping
- Cons: none
Best Airport Anywhere

Arriving at MCO is how all airports should be. By the time you get off of your plane and ride the monorail to the terminal, your bags are coming off the conveyor. No long bus rides to the rental cars!
- Pros: convenient rental car, easy baggage claim
First Impressions

As a huge tourist destination, Orlando has really thrown the dollars into its airport. Plenty of natural lighting and art greets visitors getting off the plane. A short walk to a rail tram connects the concourses to the main terminal. It is easy to navigate the main terminal to get to baggage claim and ground transportation.
