Very Happy w/Best Western Plus Orlando Gateway Hotel. Zachery, the front desk attendant made our trip what it was. We arrived late, did not care for our first floor room. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.tk They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Our Favorite Place To Stay In Orlando. My family and I have been coming here since 2006 and have always enjoyed our stays. We are Florida residents and have annual passes to Universal Studios. We stay here every time we use our passes. On our last visit we couldn't believe all the great changes the hotel had made. They opened a gym with lots of equipment. Our room was bright and cheery and had a big flat screen tv, a microwave and a fridge. The housekeeper was friendly and our room was very clean. Our kids loved the pool and tennis courts while we spent time relaxing in the jacuzzi. We didn't use the restaurant this time but had pizza and sandwiches from the deli delivered to our room. We always recommend this hotel to our family and friends for an affordable weekend getaway.

Very Disappointed the Universal Recommended This Hotel. I was set up in the hotel by Universal as part of a package and its my fault that I didn't think to look into this place until the night before leaving. I read the reviews on city search and was a bit worried but kept an open mind. The staff that checked us in was very nice but unfortunitley not very educated on the information they give you about the services offered three different people got it wrong.

After they check you in they offer you a "free welcome offer" which I'm sure you read about prior to this, and since I aleady knew what was coming with it, my response was, "No thank you I read about it online already and i'm not interested in a time share" and the man at first acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and then after that was absolutely rude as hell to deal with and if you have to deal with the Universal booth that's there after 4 pm you will have to deal with him. BE WARNED ...

Anyways, the pictures of this hotel were obviously taken when the hotel was first created because it DOES NOT look like that anymore.

The toilets run and it just LOOKS dirty, paint is peeling off and it just looks like a motel its just ughhh..

What I hated the most is they let companies (restaurants and fast food people) leave their advertisements ALLL OVER THE FLOORS in the hallway in your room, and you throw them away leave and then this trash is everywhere again.

Now I will say we were gone by 8 am and back after 11 pm so we were there long enough to shower, sleep and get ready to go (THANK GOODNESS) ....this was not a place I wanted to just "hang out".....

I must again, I'm very disappointed that this came recommended by Universal's Travel Agents....

Great location and service. We stayed there a few years ago when it was a Clarion hotel. It wasn't bad so we booked again. Wow! What a difference. Our room was like new with a huge flat screen tv and micro-fridge. Looked and smelled clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for extra towels and they delivered them to our room in less than 5 minutes.

Great value. My husband and 2 teenagers just returned from 5 days in this hotel. The staff is wonderful, it is across the street from wet n wild water park and has a shuttle to Universal. The regular room is very small as is the bathroom. The rooms do have high speed internet.

I'll stay again!. The hotel is a great value for the money. I took my family to Universal Studios using the free transportation, then went back at night to citywalk. Staff was friendly. Room was great. Firm matress and brightly decorated. I will go back to that hotel!
