The best Indian Food in town. Beautiful meal everytime we go. The food is just like from home and the service is always friendly! Recommended! Kababs are my favorite
consistantly great. they taste the same, yeah , but who cares? because whatver they are making it is damn good. been going there with the family on sundays for many years. fantastic. no better place in central florida, thats for suree. thumbs up. great dishes= cihcken kada masala, and chana masala. kababs good also.
Sunday brunch buffet is a steal. I've been to Memories of India a few times for the Sunday brunch buffet. It's a great place for someone who is new to Indian cuisine because you have the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. The waitstaff is sure to keep the butter naan coming and the champagne flowing. (Did I mention brunch includes UNLIMITED champagne?!?) The brunch buffet changes weekly so make sure to go more than once.
Terrible Memory of India. Visited for a birthday tonight. In short the service was terrible, food was blah, portion sizes were small and was very expensive. Food came out in 45 minutes for 5 dishes. $5 for one scoop of small ice cream. This was a terrible experience and dont recommend it.
Great Indian Food!. I recently moved to the Orlando area from the California bay area (where I had gotten used to superb Indian food) and have been looking around for a good Indian place to go to...and I think I've found it at Memories of India. I went there for lunch recently and got one of their lunch combos with the samosa. Everything was so delicious and not at all greasy. The chicken in my dish was tender and flavorful and the naan was fresh and tasty. I haven't gone for dinner or the Sunday buffet, but I definitely plan to soon!
Bad Memories..
I think owners have left the management to a highly unqualified staff. Ordered Navratna Korma & They gave me Mutter Paneer. When I asked them to replace it, they said his IS Navratna Korma. Even Roti was burned.
Not a good experience.
Best Indian. This is the best Indian food I have found in the Orlando area. It ranks up there with Kohinoor. Friendly staff, good selection, great prices. You can eat lunch there including bread and dessert for $8.00 and leave feeling full. The Sunday lunch buffet is amazing. Check it out.
Very Decent Restaurant. Very good food both for Lunch and Dinner....highly recommended in the area, others are ripoff's. Quantity, Taste and Service good and Economical
I like everything about this place.
Wonderful food.
Great lunch specials.
Prompt good service.
I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Only good memories here: Fabulous Indian cuisine in a subdued setting gives nostalgia a good name..
The Scene
Subtly Indian, thanks to instrumental music and a few wooden inlays with scenes of rural life. Service is speedy and correct. Even the busboy wears a tie.
The Food
A wide-ranging sampling from across the subcontinent, from Goan fish curry to tandoori chicken tikka, cooked in a clay oven. Lamb lovers and vegetarians each have more than a dozen choices. If you have company, start with nawabi lukmi or the slightly less filling bread combo (make sure to include onion kulcha). Among the veggie specialties, the delicately spiced palak paneer surpasses any other take on creamed spinach. Lamb biryani has a bolder taste, and like all the rice specialties, it includes a side of raita (yogurt with tomatoes and cucumber). Billed as Indian ice cream, pistachio kulfi makes a light, cooling dessert, but be prepared for its dense texture and slight sourness.
