The experience was awesome. We had the stone crabs for appetizers and a delicious blackened Seabass for my entree. My wife had fried shrimp breaded in saltine crackers. She loved it. When the manager stopped by He thankedus for our business. I thanked him for such a nice evening.
Pros: food and service
Cons: very crowded so make a reservation

My wife and I visited Fish Bones on May 28, 2007. While the restaurant looked good from the outside, what we found was just another Orlando tourist trap. We found Fish Bones just driving by on Sand Lake road. We were hungry, and there was no wait so we decided to try it. Although the inside of the restaurant was plastered with awards, I noticed that most of the grantors were names that I didn't recognize. Nevertheless the decor was sufficiently elegant for a restaurant. My first clue of trouble was that much of their rather sparse menu was 'market price'. Now I can understand that the cost of some items such as lobster tail, crab legs, and game fish may fluctuate; labeling more mundane items such as mahi mahi is just ridiculous. Our waiter was a bit inept, but this being the holiday weekend I expect they were a little short handed. Our dirty dishes sat on the tabIe along with our empty glasses. I ordered the mixed grill entree for about $25, which came with a sort of shrimp and scallop scampi along with one small piece each of salmon, and possibly grouper. While the ingredients were of fair quality the food was bland, and greasy. Really, it had almost no flavor at all. It was a shame that reasonably good seafood would be served in this manner. A bit of seasoning would have made all the difference. My wife ordered the stuffed shrimp for about $20 which was marginally better. At least it was kinda crispy, and had some flavor. Her entree also came with orzo which sadly, was the highlight of the meal. I don't think we will be going back. While this is not the worst restaurant in Orlando, there are far better choices in the same category, and price range -many of them nearby.
Pros: Close to far better restaurants.
Cons: Everything else.
