High ceilings and traditional low tables make Siam Orchid a great place for groups of friends or business associates to gather. The helpful waitstaff explains the menu and steers newcomers clear of anything too spicy. Regulars order whole pan-fried fish of the day seasoned with sweet-spicy Thai chili sauce or pick a royal Thai curry. The house specialty pad Thai mixes soft rice noodles, shrimp, crab, crushed peanuts and bean sprouts. Cold dishes include the basil seafood or Siam Orchid roasted duck.

Good Thai Food. I am Thai. I know how Thai food is supposed to taste. Although not the best thai food in the world, Siam Orchid offers foreigners a chance to have slightly "Americanized" Thai food. Overall the Thai food at Siam Orchid will please practically anyone. It is a good for a restaurant in the US, but if you want "real" tasting Thai food... travel to Thailand. Thailand is BEAUTIFUL and relatively inexpensive (~$800-1,000), because everything in Thailand is cheap.

tros23. I have been to Siam Orchid for many many times, and I love the food there. If you have been to Thailand, you will never be disappointed because the food is so much like it. The food is great, and the service is excellent. Love it!
