In Short – This spacious two-tiered restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a Japanese garden and koi ponds. An ultra-long, S-shaped sushi bar snakes its way along one side of the interior. The menu consists of both sushi and traditional Japanese dishes--such as tempura, yakitori, yosenabe, kushiyaki, teriyaki and tekka-don. Ran-Getsu's signature dish is sukiyaki, a pan-fried dish of thinly sliced beef, tofu and fresh vegetables. Shabu-shabu--beef and vegetables cooked tableside in a special broth--adds a festive twist to the meal. Sushi fanatics may prefer to belly up to…

Save your money.

My second time around.

the first time was 6-7 years ago. My experience was good, therefore, I went back again.

As soon as I arrived, I knew something was different & wrong.

Not too many cars in the paking lot.

Then when I walked In, the decor was exactly the same and the place had a funny smell.

My instinct told me to walked out, but I was with my entire family and since we're here............

The service was the same as last time, horrible. The attitude felt like I was honored to be served.

I think its Chinese owned now. This explains many things to me. ( I am Chinese myself, just to let you know.)

Chinese should not owned and operate a Japanese restaurant.

I wish there were a way to check who owns what.

To the food, I had better sushi at the grocery store.

I had a piece of Hamachi that I could repair a tire tube with.

Yes, they try to tell me its like that.

Enough said.

Save your money and sushi somewhere else.

Bad service and Bad food.

Excellent sushi.

This restaurant has been around for a while but this is actually my first time trying it. The place looks great. They have a beautiful japanese garden as you walk towards the entrance. Besides that, the service was pretty slow. I can barely understand our server, but she was very polite and nice. The sushi was EXCELLENT. They have a great variety of sushi fish and all the ones I tried were fresh.

  • Pros: Good Sushi Fish, great looking restaurant.
  • Cons: Quicker service.

Bad Service

by qteegurl

It took forever to have our server to even notice my table... the only time he strolled over was when we needed our tab... And the nerve of him to include 18% grat into a party of TWO.. a word or two was needed for that... Unacceptable.

  • Pros: Parking was great
  • Cons: Horrible service
