Blessed with the BEST Vet!. We were so blessed to be referred to Dr. Doug Jones of Animal Health Center in Orlando! Pet experts in Orlando clearly agree that Dr. Jones not only knows his stuff, but gives quality, loving care. We brought our cat to Dr. Jones after a long stretch of mis-diagnoses and general apathy toward his issues (and OUR furniture!) Right away, Dr. Jones listened, focused, and came up with an action plan to find the root cause of our cat's issue. Dr. Jones was able to narrow it down and finally put an end to the cat's agony and our rising furniture costs. Our cat is living a long, healthy life, and though we have relocated out of town, we absolutely commute to bring him to Animal Health Center as necessary, because Dr. Jones is a demonstrative, caring, warm, INTELLIGENT, ethical, kind man who honestly cares more about his patients than he does about paying his electric bills. Dr. Jones has proven to us that he is not only a world class, highly educated and forward-thinking veterinarian, but also a wonderful person whom we are grateful to have in our lives, caring for our cat. I cannot say enough about Dr. Doug Jones. You will just love him. His staff is kind, warm, professional, thorough, and willing to assist patients (and their owners) by making things convenient. Oh, and did I mention that they have Saturday hours? I believe we have been working with Animal Health Center for approximately 7 years, and our cat's quality of life has improved....and SO HAS OURS! I don't know what we'd do without Dr. Jones and his staff. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

very attentive, caring. Dr. Jones takes plenty of time and fully explains anything he is going to do for your pet. From complex surgery, to teeth cleaning, to a battle with fleas. He is very one-on-one. Their office is modern, clean, and newer than any others in Orlando. Seldom does their front waiting area have other pets waiting... hence no dog vs cat or dog vs dog going on out front. He cares about our "kids" and it shows during every single visit.

NO DOCTOR CAREY AT THIS HOSPITAL. Dr. Jones -- the ONLY veterinarian at this location -- is the most caring vet we have seen across the country. We had good vets in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and elsewhere, but NONE who care for their patients and your concerns like Doug Jones. His staff is uniformly competent -- perhaps because he has had so little turn over in his practice's history. We have taken our golden retrievers to him for almost ten years, and never once been disappointed.

The only mistake you can make with Doug Jones is NOT GETTING YOUR ANIMAL TO SEE HIM SOON ENOUGH.

THE VET for your dog or cat in Orlando!. Arriving in Orlando recently I could find no solid recommendation for a good vet. I visited two via an internet search only to discover old facilities, with indifferent staffs -- doctors were ok, but at least one overcharged me. Then someone at a dog park recommended Animal Health Center and Dr. Doug Jones. Oh, how I wish I had found him before! Nice, modern and CLEAN facility. Staff excellent -- knowledgeable, friendly, highly professional. I KNEW the second Dr. Jones walked into the room that he would be THE vet for us as long as we live here -- the search was over. From the way he presents himself in terms of his demeanor and look, to his interaction with my girl, to his medical knowledge, to the ample time spent, there wasn't even a moment's hesitation about him. This fellow is as great with the owner as with the pet -- which means a lot. AND, no frivolous charges -- very reasonable. If you've been searching for a vet, look no further. You and your pet will feel very comfortable at this clinic and with Dr. Jones. (And, by the way, I'm a theme park cast member)
