Terrible Food - Terrible Service.
This was my 1st visit and my last. The soup was luke warm. The buffalo chicken wings had more sugar on them than anything and were undercooked. The French Dip sandwich had almost no meet on it. It tasted a little burnt. WHERE'S THE BEEF!!!!
Anytime we needed something we had to grab a different server. We could never find ours. We went during lunch. It was not very busy.
Best Restaurant for a fun experience!. Best restaurant for a fun experience! Had dinner here the other night with my wife and it was fabulous. The food was first class and the service was quick, quick, quick. Try the appetizers, they are big enough to share. The ambiance was very romantic yet fun and we had a wonderful 'date night'. It would also be perfect to bring the kids to for lunch! We will be back often!
Kansas-based restaurant started in 1972 entices 30-somethings and families with a flashy menu, inventive drinks and chic, but accessible, decor..
In Short
Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.
